Lots of power for not to much cash

No "sub-sonic" filter like MTX or Kicker, but it doesn't cost $500-$800

I bought this amp about a month ago and Wow does it push subs. A little advice though most people that go theis amp got caps and extra batteries I just got a Duralst gold and it doesn't even drain it. Oh and don't use Audiobahn 1200Qs with this amp have it hooked on one amp on a third and the thing smells like it's gonna burn out. Going to replace it with One solobaric L7 12". Audio store told me not to hook two up so I'll be getting another Jbl to push the other one.

Amazing amplifer. I'm running four 10" infinity perfects at 1 ohm. Never gets hot even at insane volume levels. It drives these subs very hard and at great SQ levels

Some have reviewed the BP1200 as a power monger. This is very true and is evidence of quality. My amps (*)NEVER get hot and although they suck lots of current, it suggests all the current is going to the woofers and not being wasted as heat. That's evidence of efficency. It's also why it shakes the frame of my truck. (*) Not even after several attempts to do so. Not once.

I wish all car audio products had performance and value like the JBL BP 1200. We would all be in audio utopia.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Dont pass it up. Regardless of its super low price, this amp ROCKS HARD! I got 2 of these amps on 4 Boston Acoustic 12" pro's, 1 awg power cable,a 1.5 farad cap and a deep cycle battery. IT SHAKES THE FRAME OF MY TRUCK! SQ is so good I wouldn't know it was a digital amp. I love music very loud when it plays totally clear and clean. F--K Yeah...

Obscene power output, small price tag, small footprint, looks good, output exceeds rating. Draws at MOST 114 amps, so cap it and you're golden.

Settings knobs on the side really SUCK. But get over it, the amp rocks in every other way.

This amp is canned thunder .. spectacular power output for the $$$, and it's good, CLEAN power too. I have it powering two of the 25th Aniv. round Kicker Solo-Barics, giving each 600w on the nose, which is their exact RMS rating. It sounds like an EARTHQUAKE.

this is a great amp if u want power and dont have a lot of money... it runs good down to 0.5 ohm wich comes in handy if ur poor :), but i rather get 2 of these amps then 1 1500bd, u can look at my set up at sounddomain.com/id/mikeb8134 and see the 2 jbl's pushing my 2 rf 3112's and i am not kidding when i tell u this is the loudest car i have ever been in, my friends say that they dont know how a car could be any louder then mine.... i beat out my friends 4 15's and anothers 4 12" , both were done from a shop and i did my own with jbl and rj by my self ( 18 years old ) ... jbl is a good amp!

Power(watts)/price ratio =GREAT clean power Lights that light up around the logo-looks good with my amp rack.

To me there aren'y any.

This is the best amp for the price [watts/price ratio]. You won't find a better amp for the price. Only complaint is that I must use 2 Accumatches bc of the GTi series of JBL subwoofers. What you need is 2 of these amps with 1 15" in a ported SQ box, then you can buy some of the new JBL c608GTi components and have a complete jbl system(I was going to do this). But, I decided to save the money, which is wise since I don't have any at the moment ;)

Very powerful. Has cool orange light that illuminates the JBL symbol on amp when turned on.

I have this amp powering one 15" RF Power HX2. It definately does the job well. This sub has RMS at 1000 watts and I am definately gettin over 1000 watts from this amp

Price, Simple.

Draws tons of power. lights dim alot.. need a cap..

This amp is decent. Its a beast.. lots of power for your money. Im powering (3) JL Audio 12w6 in a sealed box. I havent had the time to test how loud it is but its loud.
