Strength:

Design, inside and out; engine; transmission; suspension; brakes; safety features; over all handling and mileage.

Weakness:

Somewhat stiff; view to the rear slightly restricted; premium fuel recommended; no daytime running lights.

Excellent body design and interior layout; easy step-in height; comfortable, supportive seating; rear seats can be folded to create huge cargo area; powerful, proven engine; silky smooth transmission; extremly stable suspension, solid, somewhat stiffly sprung ride (not for Lexus/Highlander/Pilot lovers); superb brakes; nicely weighed, medium effort steering; reasonably quiet with a touch of reassuring engine growl.

Strength:

Good looks. Powerful engine. Love the CVT. Good fuel economy.

Weakness:

The homelink buttons for the garage doors do not have backlighting. It is hard to find the buttons at night.

The Murano is by far the most appealing SUV on the road today. It drives like a car with the powerful 3.5 liter V6. Yet, the fuel economy is quite good compared to other SUVs. Another appealing feature is the CVT. The ride is very smooth as you accelerate. Can't feel any abrupt jerk as the car accelerates.

Iam having one problem i get a lot of wind bumping when i open the windows iam very disappointed with this the car seems to have a lot of cabin pressure which is hurting my ears, this upsets me because i really do like everything else about the car.

Strength:

Poverful,fast, and quiet engine

Weakness:

None

I just have this car for a couple of weeks, but I love it very much. This car is very fast, smooth, and quiet ride. It saves me alot of money on gas too to compare to my previuos Nissan Pathfinder. It drives like a car. I like the new CVT transmission that Nissan put it on the Murano. It is responsive, fast, quiet. I would recommend other people to take a test drive before they go to find other cars.

The new Urban suv has landed, to create a new hybrid offspring to the design of suvs. Named after an island just near venice and known for its glass art , the murano is the best thing to happen to suvs thus far.It has a new Xtronic transmission(cvt) which can make one feel no gear change when changing or driving fast. Its interior is grand and eloquent, while its exterior is rugged yet luxurious. Its performance is complemnted by its 2.5 liter V6 engine along with 245 hp to go along with it. It also contains a timing chain rather than a timing belt. The murano also has traction control as well as 16 'inch side curtain bags along with a 5 star safety rating. It has 18 inch weels and a gas mileage of 20 miles per gallon for city mpg and 25 miles per gallon for highway mpg, It has 18 inch wheels and 21.9 gallon gas tank. This is the ideal "Urban suv" which will change the way of suvs forever.

Weakness:

Noise

I test drove the Murano SL and I like it. I didn’t notice any difference with the CVT transmission. It drove like the regular automatic transmission. I do find the SUV a bit noisy but my friend said all SUV are like this and it is quieter than his Grand Cherokee LTD. I tried the traction in 10” snow. The traction without the TRC traction was great and I am not sure if the TRC is needed (unless you go off road). The interior is very modern next to none. Murano has a very low fuel consumption rating (something very similar to my Maxima), which I find hard to believe. At CAN$39,500, the Murano SL is priced to compete with the Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander. The SE at CAN$46,500 would compete with the Acura MDX. In my opinion, the Murano will win hands down in both categories. It is the SUV of the next generation. Nissan has a great reputation for quality and reliability. The SL represents great value for such a vehicle. For the additional $7,000, the SE is also a very attractive package making the buying decision a tough one.
