GReat Interior, love the heated/cooled leather seats. Great vehical in the snow and ice, Tows the boat and 7 pax no problem.
Weakness:
needs a Supercharger I traded a F250 HD Turbo Diesel and we love our new truck... It is AWD and yes the milage is exacly what the sticker says. 11.3 in town. We love the heated seats living in Michign and the all wheel drive is awsome for the wife. Similar Products Used: F250 HD 4x4 Diesel, Mountianeer Yukon 4x4 |

Strength:
space, driving through snow banks, looks, strong roof, utility, service department, suspension leveling
Weakness:
re-conditioned engine put in by dealer at 36,000 miles due to a cylinder failure, poor road feel while towing, heated seat has failed 2 times, steering wheel functional design This is an enjoyable SUV for the family. I bought it for my wife. I've loaded up the SUV with 8 passengers, 300lbs up top (hobie cat) and pulled my direct drive waterski boat all at once. It's a little "squirrely" with high cross winds, but new tires have helped. And guess what? When pushed to the max you will break the engine. We're happy with the looks since the new models (more masculine and less curves) are not appealing to my wife. Similar Products Used: first SUV; i'd consider an excursion with the new 6.0L diesel when this lease expires |

Navigator
Strength:
HID lights, Deployable running boards, power liftgate, unbelieveable cargo room after rear seats have been lowered, ease of passengers getting in & out of third row, comfortable seating, beautiful dashboard and console, gorgeous wood accents (not the fake stuff), rear entertainment system, comfortable ride, excellent ergonomics, front headrest more accessible and easily utilized, dual climate zone capability in front, climate controlled front seats
Weakness:
1) 300 HP engine ... could use more 2) no third row floor mats 3) window switches in awkward position in center 4) radio mute button does not work unless you have phone connected to system I love my new Navigator. I previously owned a 2000 model and by far, there is no comparison between the two. It rides smoother, the steering is stiffer and more responsive. The interior overhaul is the best thing that Lincoln could have ever done for it. It looks and feels much plusher inside. The integrated stereo/navigation system is unbelieveable. The power liftgate and deployable running boards make this vehicle a delight to get into and more useful when shopping. The HID lights make driving at night much easier. The gauge is much nicer to look at and easier on the eyes. The "reverse-tilt" feature of the side-view mirrors when the vehicle is placed in reverse makes backing up much easier, too. There are too many great enhancements that have been incorporated into the 2003 Navigator that I could go on all day long. I have never looked back on my decision of trading in the 2000 Navigator for the 20003 with nothing but satisfaction and content. The folks at Cadillac better watch out! Similar Products Used: 2000 Navigator- I loved this vehicle the day I got it and always knew that I would always have a Navigator in my garage forever. Didn't think it could get better until the 2003 model came out and forc |

Strength:
Ride & handling, overall comfort and Luxury, 8300 lb.towing capacity is good but not excellant.
Weakness:
Fuel economy, The new 6.0 litre diesel should be offered as an option to increase economy and towing capacity. Great ride and handliing, But dealer cannot fix the problems with Remote mirror memory system, sticking power running boards, rattles from interior and undercarriage. R/r qitr. panel trim gets hot. Remote entry doesn't always work properly. Similar Products Used: Ford F-350 with 6.9 litre diesel. Dodge ram 2500 with 5.9 litre Cummins turbo diesel. for towing travel trailer. |

Strength:
Looks for 2003 Very powerful engine
Weakness:
Weak AC Electronic problems Not too impressed!!! We just leased this nav for 36 months. The new navigator is much nicer than the previous generation, don't get me wrong. But, so far the air compressor failed and needed relacement( must of been defective). Next we had some problems with the electronics( instrumental cluster went dead and none of the electric seats worked). Later on, the rear windows wouldn't open or close. This truck has been in the shop for about a week and a half and we're expecting more in the future. We're only getting 1217 fuel economy which is awful. Similar Products Used: 1999 navagator, had it's share of problems, but not as many so early. |

None FOLLOW-UP POSTED BY CYBERRAM Granted, I've had problems with my 2000 Navigator, but if you live in South Florida and are planning to buy a new Lincoln, you have to go to Holman Miami Lincoln on 7th Ave - these people are incredible. Their service is top notch and very courteous. I've seen a lot of complaints posted here about Lincoln dealerships . . well not so here. Most of my problems have been resolved, and although it did take some time (mostly the fault of a computer micro-chip) they made sure I was never without first class accommodations. |
