Strength:
I handles like a dream on or of the beaten path. You can fit 2 passangers in the back comfortaly. Has a great sound system if you have a sound bar.
Weakness:
It is not the bestn on gas. The wind seeps in even with the best seals on a hard top. Not alot of trunk space. I had always wanted to own a jeep ever since i was a kid. I used to love to watch movies with jeeps in them just to see how they would preform. I owned sevral cars mostly 2 seater sports but it there is nothing like be able to take of the top and doors and go for a drive it feels like your flying. I work about 25miles from my house so my commute is 50 miles a day. But there is something about the jeep that just makes you forget you are in trafic or going to work. I would encourage any one that wants to feel like they can go anywhere to get one. |

Weakness:
None yet,had only 1 month. Always thought I would buy one of these some day,so at 40 here I am with my new sport. After learning about the new bigger Wrangler se, I felt its "now or never",better grab one! I love it. The wrangler handles as if you could go anywhere in it. Tight with a proven v6,plenty of options to pick up down the road is another big plus. The auto trans. shifts smoothly with much pulling power compared with my brothers Jeep liberty with the 3.7 v6,and unlike my brother did not have to return to the dealer for adjustments. All in all very surprised how refined the wrangler has become. Cannot wait to put the soft top on(or off) this summer and hit the trails! Similar Products Used: Nissan, ford |

Wrangler Sahara Edition
Strength:
Looks great, nice to have the 4 wheel drive when you need it. It has a great history behind the name. I have found that the paint job has held up great.
Weakness:
Slow, not a performance machine by any stretch of the imagination. Loud, especially on the freeway. I can't hear my wife talking very well because of the road noise.(I should have put that it the Strengths category!) No room for anything. They are very pricey for a small car. I was told that all the old Jeep complaints had been fixed but they are only slightly better. I have always wanted a green Sahara edition Wrangler. I have never made an impulse buy in my life but I had a weak moment at the dealership that day. I love the Jeep but if you have a wife & kids think twice. My wife is not the safest driver & the Jeep takes some driving experience to be safe. It is very small & she finds it easy to park but the Jeep is not user friendly for a family to use. If you plan on going anywhere with your wife buy a trailer for the luggage. Weakness:
NOISE! Poor mileage. Think twice about this car if you're planning on it being your daily driver! It's very noisy, rough, and is easy to lose control of. I love this car for what it is - an offroad funster vehicle, but I'd never, ever buy one to get to work and back again. My mistake. But then again, they're so hard to resist on the lot! Strength:
Looks, Power, 4 Wheel Drive, Reliable, Reliable, and Reliable. Oh and just plain fun
Weakness:
Could use more mid-range and high power (torque) 5 speed throws way too long. B&M short throw shifter helps some. What can I say! I still can't believe chrysler makes this product. If every mopar was made this good, chrysler would be unstoppable. A blast to drive and own!! The 4.0 Liter is reliable as the sun. One of the best motors ever. My friend had two with one 275,000 miles and the another with 325,000 with basic care. Love the freedom with the doors off and top. What can I say this thing is a chic magnet. Handling and power is decent. DOHC would be a nice addition, tons of low end torque runs out of steam mid range good old push-rod. But hey its not a racecar. Resell value is high. Great off-roading and in the snow. What can I say take one out with the top off and YOU WILL understand! Similar Products Used: 02 Chevy Trailblazer, 90 Dodge Daytona (problems glore) |

Gas Mileage Break pedale is to close to the gas pedal. I have checked this on other Wrangler editions and have noticed the Freedom Edition gas and break pedals are much closer together. I have already hit the break and gas pedal at the same time, twice. One resulted in a minor accident. I have always wanted a Jeep Wrangler. I never thought I would be in a position to actually purchase one. I had a great experience at the Jeep dealership and this prompted me to purchase the Freedom Edition. Similar Products Used: None |

Gas mileage and reliablility This is the second jeep i have owned. The first one was a 1995 rio grand edition and it was great but this 1998 sport with automatic trans. is terrible. I have spent over $2700 fixing it in less than two years and it has many problems i'm not going to fix i'm just cutting my loses and trading it in on something that will not break down once a month. |
