2004 4x4 Isuzu Rodeo
Strength:
Just cant kill it. Through sand, mud, rough roads, just keeps going. Isuzu must love Australians. Tough Trucks for tough people and our country roads. In the city the rodeo looks stylish with a hint of mean machine.
Weakness:
Absolutely none at all. Maybe a bit more front end strength for smacking into kangaroos if it happens, but a good bull bar sots that out most times. If your a wimpy type person this truck is not for you!!!. IF your a winger about a fly on your face and say to yourself, "leave me alone fly don't touch me", then this truck is not for you!!!

Rodeo
Strength:
Easy maintenance and reliability. Never had problems and no parts replacement, except brakes, front shocks, spark plugs, one rear wheel bearing (recently).
Weakness:
None I purchased this Rodeo new, and never had any malfunctions so far. It has 96,000 miles on it. Even the paint job is still like new in 7 years of continuous use.

Isuzu Rodeo
Strength:
Looks nice, good features, spacious.
Weakness:
Poorly built transmission, oil-guzzler, poor interior door design (hard to remove/put back on), CD players fail, took me 2 years to find the tire changing kit and figure out how to fold down the back seat. I got this 2002 V6 Rodeo in 2005 and it has been the greatest nightmare of my life. The 6-disk CD player gave out nearly 10 months after I had it. I had to have transmission work done on it all the time after 15 months and then I had to have a new one put in twoand a half years later (luckily it was under warrenty then - Nov. 2007). Now, that transmission is going out and is going to be around $1,800 to rebuild with a 6 month warrenty. The engine started devouring oil about 2 months ago too and no one knows what's going on there.

Strength:
Powerful V6, incredible 4x4, holds a lot of cargo, good A/C, quality paint.
Weakness:
Uses up some oil, rear slides around on ice when not in 4x4, brakes aren't very good at stopping. Bought this used at 73k miles. So far have only repaired/serviced the basics. Recently the engine light came on, and repaired the CO2 sensor by cat. converter. Now at over 84k miles this thing has been the best SUV in the snow, and I'm really impressed at the ability to plow through snow drifts like nothing. The truck-like suspension is harsh on rough roads. Seats are comfortable, and there's tons of room when the back seats are down. Similar Products Used: Honda CR-V |

Isuzu Rodeo lse 2wd 3.2
Strength:
entire car is very very tough.
Weakness:
epensive parts, as well as hard to find parts. I bought my rodeo last December and have had a few problems, nothing major. It has 166,000 miles and is still going strong. I purchased a peformance chip and a k&n air filter as well as alot of cool add-ons and it is sweet. I now have over 255 BHP at the wheels! It's a 4 speed automatic. This car is very tough. Take care of them and they will run forever. |

Rodeo 4wd
Strength:
Very dependable. I'm going to miss it!!!
Weakness:
maybe a bumpy ride but after all it is a 4wd I got this car when it was new and it has been my baby ever since. On Monday Nov. 13th 2006 my roommates life was saved by this car. It gave itself up for her life. It is now totaled. She came out with only bumps and bruises mostly from the seat belt and airbags. I am now in the process of finding another Rodeo. I realize they are no longer making them so am looking for a 2004. I will not buy any other car. Similar Products Used: None |
