Strength:
Space, 4wheel drive, totally unique, very fun to drive, corners well, many others...seats flip down all the way. Back seats flip up on the side of wall, tailgate along with many others!
Weakness:
Only 2 seats in back. Gas milage at beginning is not good at all. Floors may be slippery when wet!!(Live in MN...It is snowy now...!) I have the 2007 Element, it is the middle version. It is a great great vheicle and i absolutly LOVE IT! I have though only owned it for a week and a half! Similar Products Used: Chevy Blazer |

Strength:
Good gas mileage, very versatile, flexible and durable interior, AWD is great in the snow!
Weakness:
none! Purchased my Honda Element new in October of 2003, third Honda I've owned, as usual no problems what so ever! I put well over 200.000 on my previous Honda vehicals. I have 30.000 miles on the Element-it takes a licking and keeps on ticking! I carry mountain bikes, hockey gear, ski gear...what an awesome vehical! Similar Products Used: Jeep CJ-7 |

Honda Element SC
Strength:
GREAT stereo, relatively quiet ride. For a big box, it gets good mileage 20 in town, 24 on highway. Very edgy interior/exterior on the SC
Weakness:
Plastic surfaces are SOFT, scratch easily. Sounds kind of "tinny" when you slam the door, but this is minor. The heater is barely up to the job of heating the rather vast interior. Very roomy, very Honda, overall a nice ride Similar Products Used: I've owned a Honda Accord, 2 Civics, and an S2000. All of them absolutely bulletproof, reliable autos. |

Strength:
roomy, great for camping, good mileage considering the shape
Weakness:
tires wear out fast, many blinds spots, have had to change too many important mechanical parts Love the truck BUT we have had to have the clusters of the transmission changed, (its a standard),the windshield, the power distribution box, and now the starter. That is a lot for the year. Not impressed with the mechanical aspect of the truck. Similar Products Used: none, and will not buy another Honda |

Strength:
Conversation starter...
Weakness:
Conversation ender. Definately NOT an urban vehicle. It is impossible to parallel park, and if you are in a lot with any back seat passangers they will not be able to get out. In any event the front seat passanger must unbuckle his seat belt to let someone out in the rear. In fact, the front doors are so large that it is quite uncomfortable getting in or out for anyone. Oh, and in New England, opening any of the doors in the winter empty the entire car of its heat and will chill you to the bone. One last thing, the cup holder is on the floor and just back a bit to put a strain on the arm reaching for your morning coffee. One of the worst automobiles I have driven. I can see this driven maybe in SoCal, but not here in New England. Our parking lots are too conjested for this boxy car, and our weather too cold to heat the vast interior. 4WD EX-P
Strength:
Great to store stuff. Heightened seats in back give passengers a thrill. Back seats fold up, or remove, in a moment. Easy to clean. Perfect height for getting in/out. Looks great and we got the painted fenders. Lots of good storage. Good for iPods. You can sleep in the car b/c the seats turn into one big bed. Use to love our VW camper so this pulled us in. Can even get an attaching tent. Nice height to see traffic if you don't mind the blind spots.
Weakness:
Seats are horrible. I compare this to a Jetta. You have no lumbar adjustment. Seat can be adjusted up/down. But such a small adjustment you think they were kidding. The wheel adjusts but much of it blocks view of speedo. You can find better seats in a crappy Taurus. I would be embarrassed to sell this seat. The visibility in this car is tragic. DO NOT LET NEW DRIVERS PARK THIS. Parking must be done by feel b/c you can't see anything. Changing lanes in traffic is a leap of faith. Sad lighting on the controls. None of the controls on the steering wheel are illuminated. Thus, at night you are left to guess. Dangerous/stupid. Few of the controls in the cabin are lit for night use. VW Jettas, bottom of the line, give every control a red illumination for easy access in the dark. I would spank the designers for this. If the controls are important enough to put on shouldn't they think about giving us a way to use them at night. Insulting. The seats could have used an extra couple of dollars in putting in. We loved the idea of this car and should have test it in more traffic and at night. The engine in this car has the punch of a three cylinder vehicle. I don't like to speed so it fits me fine. Yet, the underpowered engine leaves you scratching your head. Again, great idea with a real problem. Sad b/c I spoke to people on the street when I considered buying the car and it got rave reviews. Yet, after driving it for a couple of months you are left to wonder "should I get rid of this uncomfortable dangerous car?" I would never let a new driver have this car. Blind spot is as big as a barn. If you do buy the car make sure you get an after market rear view mirror to widen the view. Park it in lots b/c as you back into parallel spots you won't see anything...nothing! I wanted to love this car but I find myself preferring our other car a 2002 Jetta Station wagon. We fell in love with the idea and the look. Yet, after driving it, sadly disappointed. I loved the idea you can camp in/with the car and it was very roomy. The ease of getting in and out was amazing. Need not get up, or down, into the car. It is perfect level. Roomy for storage. Easy to clean. Yet, the comfort of the seats is to be found in the cheapest of cars. The visibility is that of a panel van w/o windows. The lighting on the controls was over looked. The fabric wears poorly. The seats do not really adjust well and they have an attitude of one-size-fits-all. You can raise the seat by 2 inches. No lumbar control arm rest doesn't adjust but for up and down. Great idea with embarrassing execution. Car has the power of grandma. |

Honda Element SC
Strength:
The re-designed exterior, especially the front end headlights reduces the homeliness factor a lot. It can accept the aftermarket HID upgrade kit easily on the low beams, and still look factory.
Weakness:
If it had a V6 option.....oh yeah!
This is a 2007 model Element SC with the higher horse power engine. My first element was a 2006 EX-P. Great car, but this one is 376.5545% better. The upgraded interior places a shift in character from utility to street Civic CRX-Si (1988 model for those who remember those). The best upgraded feature, which shocked me, is the lower RPM's. My EX-p at 70mph used to run over 3000rpm, the SC runs at 2100rpm. Much better pickup due to the new transmission, in fact they say only 10HP difference, it feels more like 30HP. This car is much more responsive than the '06 EX-P. Why did I change to the SC? Go take a look at one, then you will know. Similar Products Used: 2006 EX-P |

Honda quality can really be felt in drive and fitment of build.
Weakness:
Trucky ride. Not for those who want a soft buick like ride, but I am too young and fun to care at 32. I love this Car! Truck! ??? It is so fun to drive, so versatile, and so driver friendly for tall people. I am 6'3 and this is the only gas getter that will fit me. I get 25 mpg driving 80 with a full load and A/C on!
