Strength:

Good for cargo room. Love the back seats how they can lean really down.

Weakness:

Speed !!!!! needs more speed.

I went to the La Auto Show awhile back and saw this car and said to myself What a freakin ugly car. "I would never buy one." Until I saw the features ..It just sold me and then I bought it after a couple of months thinking god I hope everyone doesn't think this car is ugly.I bought this car because I go out a lot and exploring new places that I've never been before =)

Strength:

Price is great- it's cheaper than anything else comparable. Handling is superb- very car like. The low CG keeps roll and sway to a minimum. Cargo room is excellent. The swing up seats are super handy. Visibility is outstanding. Headroom is the best of any vehicle I've ever owned.

Weakness:

Space use isn't as good as it might be. It's only a few inches shorter than a Chrysler minivan but seats only half as many. It should come with carpets, and with a mpassanger side arm rest. Gas milage could be better. A little more attention to front end aerodynamics and another gear might have yielded some imporvments. And why didn't Honda being this car out with a hybveid engone???

This is a fun, quirky car, aimed at 20 somethings but more popular with 40 somethings. It's a great camping vehicle, a cute alternative to the minivan, a great family transporter for those with one or two kids, and a definitely attention grabber.

*Great stereo *Ton of space for EVERYTHING *Great add-ons *Great design *Perfect for surfing, skiing, snowboarding, biking, and camping trips.

Weakness:

I never really found that many problems with it.

Perfect car for those who like to go places (im one of those kind of people). I bought mine with many add-ons, and it's the best car I've ever ridden. It's definitely a head-turner when cruising on the streets.

Strength:

No nonsense functionality plus, comfortable seat design, 5-star crash test rating, simply fun to drive, openness in the cockpit, mix of colors and composite panels, reasonable gas mileage, sound system, ride and stability.

Weakness:

Some Honda engineer should be thumped for the standard armrest design, although they recovered by offering an optional decent size rest that the passenger can use.

A wonderfully designed functional vehicle with retro styling and such a unique overall design, plus Honda quality. The vehicle is very solid and stable on the both the back roads, and the highway. It has more than enough engine power to be very comfortable in any driving situation we have encountered. A cross between a panel truck, SUV, van, and truck, but better than any of them from an overall design and functional standpoint. We have found that the ride and seats very comfortable, with numerous seat position variations. And the stereo system has enough wattage and natural sound to power any dance in the local gym. The other pleasant surprise was the insurance cost, it was less expensive than our 95 Buick LeSabre. Every time we go for a ride, we begin looking for the Serengeti plains, giraffes, and lions - a rather delightful change from the auto "Jelly Bean" designs over the past 15 years. Great dealership also.

Strength:

Looks (to me at least) Comfy Honda quality all around decent on gas-only need 87 awesome stereo huge storage great ride and handling good value

Weakness:

keyless remote should be standard too many add ons.

Love this thing. It handles almost like a car and drives like a dream and it looks so cool! It's no sports car but a great drive nontheless. Very comfortable and easy to live with. The 160hp engine doesn't feel underpowered either. I got the 2WD EX to save the added cost and 200lb weight that the 4 wheel drive has.

We were looking for a practical car to fit an active lifestyle and found it in the Honda Element. It is roomy and flexible -- a great asset for those trips to the beach with the dogs and the kids.

Strength:

Space...lots of space. Waterproof interior will be great for the winter snow. Seats are easy to maneuver. You look good driving it.

Weakness:

Stuff slides around on the seats and floors. Rear view mirror is a bit too high for me. No decent place for change. No ashtray.

An attention getter and definitely unique! The ride is very smooth on and off the highway. Not too much noise. Good on gas. It's very spacious and very comfortable. It's a fun vehicle with lots of possibilites. I would recommend getting the carpeted floor mats or else you'll have things sliding all over the place. Versatile seats are great for loading almost anything. It feels like driving a truck, but has the room of a minivan. Can't wait to take it camping.

Strength:

The EX package gave me Sidebars, Roof Rack, 270 watt stereo, moonroof, 4 wheel all wheel drive. the shifter is out of the way, the room and options of how to put the seats will allow u to road trip anywhere and with a full load of people or gear.

Weakness:

The seating needs to be watched I noticed my back seats starting to come out of the seams where the seats come together, have it fully repaired. ;)

I bought it as my first "truck" that i was dreaming of since I was 16. I was looking for something this versitile and durable for over 2 years now. And I love how it drives, its like a go-cart that u can camp in, chill in, and slam the muzik out on you 270 system. I highly recommend this car at least for a test drive, and to those people who think its a mini hummer, no its more like a Tonka Truck, and I put mine through hell and back when I was young, and I am sure this vehicle will do the same with me and still run perfect at 100k.

Strength:

Love the uniqueness, colours, interior, exterior, utility and attention.

Weakness:

dOptions expensive and far too many. Many should come with the EX trim. But perhaps there is a certain uniqueness about ass of these features and therefore they are woth it. Besides the old man paid for them.

I purchased this car for my son and am happy that I did. It is a very sensible vehicle which attracts a lot of attention from all that observe it. I do not understannd why so many owners are concerned about the size of the engine. The size of this little cuties engine is just right for the intent of this vehicle. It is a sensible auto that gets reasonably good milleage with great manouverability. If you want power purchase a Celica or an equivalent to that. If you want utility along with a certain uniqueness that's hard to define, you know it when you see it, then this bud's suv is for you. It has it.
