Absolutely love the car, picked it up at a dealer where a friend works at a steal from a 57 year old nurse who treated it like a baby, nearly 6 years old and only 40,000 miles on it, fully loaded with all the toys 6 disc changer ect. Driving this car is easy and just plain fun, I haven't even tapped into its full potential yet and still blow most cars away without much effort, just wish I had the VR4 :p but I absolutely love the car and watching everyone turn there heads to see it is a nice plus, everyone seems to have a Mustang or Camaro but everyone notices when my GT drives by. Best car I've ever had and very satisfied with it.

Strength:

Acceleration due to all wheel drive. Lateral G's are awesome due to all wheel steering. Low profile for better road handling. Style is stunning.

Weakness:

Heavy car, back seat is a joke, kinda hard to get in and out due to tight cockpit, vision is somewhat limited, with the mods, my gas mileage suffers severly. Very expensive for parts and maintenance. You have to really baby this car and take good care of it. Mine is 9 years old with original paint and body and people cant believe it when I tell them the year. They think its a 99 or I had it repainted.

Great CAR!!. I bought mine new at the dealership and it was impressive. Handling, acceleration, and braking were excellent. 300hp stock was plenty but of course but I needed more. I made several modifications to the already fast Stealth. These are some of the mods: 15G turbo upgrades, HKS intake with K&N filter, HKS turbo exhauast, Stillen Downpipe (really big pipes w/ test pipe), Blitz DSBC (boost controller), Blitz Dual turbo timer (which is really a MUST if you upgrade or even for just stock turbos), Blitz boost gauge (stock is generic), NKG plat. plugs, Magnecor 8.5mm plug wires, stillen crossdrilled rotors and pads. Blitz Type 03 wheels with Nitto tires (stock wheels are real heavy), Denso intank pump upgrade...etc. I have beaten them all. I eat up mustang gt and smoked a Cobra. Vettes, NSX, any rice burner, 300ZX, supra. The only thing that keep up with me is this 69 Corvette Stingray with many mods & upgrades. I have around 470hp. But all these mods arent cheap. Stock is just more than enough, you still can beat many cars.

All Wheel Drive System, Strong Twin Turbocharged Engine

Weakness:

High Cost Maintenance, Backseat Is Too Small

I bought my car used with a 60,000 miles in it. The engine is very strong. Acceleration may be a little slower than a car in its class but the all wheel drive system gives a much better handling than a rear wheel drive. It is pretty expensive to maintain this car but what do you expect from a sports car. This car is very quick. Last night I just went head to head with my boss's Dodge Viper GTS. He was shock that my turbocharged V6 can go head to head with his V10.

1990 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo - I used to own this car until I blew the engine. I like the Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 better than the Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo. The 3000GT is a lot more comfortable than the 300ZX. The 300ZX also has a pretty bad traction problem. I prefer the all wheel drive VR4 than the 300ZX.

Strength:

Handling! This car can take some corners. My favorite part about driving this car is the amount of force that pulls your head back, like when dropping into 2nd! Very stylish, and I find I get extremely good gas mileage.

Weakness:

As with all cars, but with gt's it is extremely important to properly maintain because of the cost of repairs. Also, I have had problems with the rotors warping.

Overall the GT is a great car! Although I don't have the VR4 the base model is still very powerfull. Good price when compared to other sports cars and is still able to compete if not beat pricer cars. This is my third car and I have to say that it is the only car I really have enjoyed driving! A Must Have

At about 135 mph, the steering starts to shake, and the car becomes unstable.

The car is my first car, and I love it! I have wasted mustang 5.0s, camarro ss, and it has come to the point where i wont race civics anymore. The cars handling is perfect, I take most 35 mph turns at 60. When I first got the car, I had to have a new clutch installed, but other than that, i have had to fix nothing. Everyone loves my car, some more than me. Many people come up to me and ask how i afforded a brand new car, I tell them that its a 94, they laugh, and walk away.

AWD, Nice Interior, very nice head on view, pretty torquey, climate control, electronic control suspension, active aero's, moonroof and more

Weakness:

Heavy(good for accidents), no burnouts, non-vented grills a little high of the ground and mmmmmm they dont make them anymore.

I have driven this car for 2years, I use to own a supercharged 5.0, it was crazy quick but the handling was average ,The 91-93 VR4 was really advanced for its time and the interior is superb, I looked at the nsx interior and was totally dissapointed the used T.T.supra was 10-15K more and still had a weak interior and slip action in the rain. I can fit 2 surfboards and 2 bikes no problem. What really motivated me to write this was an incident in which I got lucky and had the chance to race a Ferrari 360 spyder while I was looking for a spot to surf at first I was just admiring the car at the stop light and following behind it then he guned it and sped away, I caught up to him just cruising and a one lane was to turn into 2 lanes uphill at torrey pines road southbound just before the lane was to split I dropped it in second going 47 thinking he was going to gun it again trying to get me to race, Well he did and I Stepped on it to, at first the f360 began pulling away from me then I beggan to reel him in untill we got to aroung 100 and I was really close behing him, then he slowed down, still climbing the hill he guns it again this time I start on third going around 60-70 and again beggins pulling away and then my turbos kick in and I get closer and closer he doges into a gap in semi-traffic and I follow behind and catch up to him racin up to 115 with no cars in front of him he lets off the gas and I do too then he brakes for a traffic light at the top of the hill he slides to the next lane and gets stuck behind a car I'm really exited and give him a thumbs up after waiting like 5 seconds for him to look my way and give him compliments on his beutiful car he just looks and then looks away "not polite at all".,he had the top down too, I start of easy and he slides behind me I go to second and at 45 I floor it he guns it too he begins to get closer then again I start pulling away I shifted to third and and checked my mirror, he was still triyng to catch up but was left pretty far back behind I knew he was still flooring it because I got up to 120-125 on a 45 road and he was there behind tagging along but just not able to pass me or even get closer. I did not want to go any faster and I was pretty sure his car just could not hang so I slowed down and he speed passed me then he slowed down, and a traffic light was red around 1/8 mi ahead I Stopped to the right of him and told his beutiful female companion "thanks for stepping on it I appreciate it" she smiled and and the light turned green and I let him go not wanting to hurt his ego anymore. I have been thinking since yesterdeay when it happened that maybe he shifted more and his torque could not match the 5 speed 305 torque compared to his lower torque and extra passenger and horsepower but then again my car does weight 3700. My car is stock too.

You can sqeeze four moderately sized people in the car. Its good in all kinds of weather and is a blast to drive.

Weakness:

Where to begin....EXPENSIVE TO MAINTAIN and there is a ton of things that go wrong at about 95k. My turbo's went, it looks like i might need a new tranny, and new lifters, clutch went, waterpump went, ac broke, glove compartement broke(125 to fix), radio broke. This car seemed to be a disaster from day one. To make it worse, Mitsubishi seemed to be clueless about this car. It took them 3.5 days just to figure out was wrong with it. They didn't seem to care about performance problems. You won't get that if you buy a true sports car like a Porcshe.

Pretty car. Impressive. Will turn heads and make you feel rich. The styling is unique.

300zx, rx-7, supra, all these cars seem to be 'mistakes'. These companies simply cannot built supercars. I don't care what you say, buy a Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, NSX, Ferrarie or don't buy a supercar at all. If you buy a 3000gt, supra, z, or rx-7 be prepared to have a lot of problems with service, parts and performance. And I will bet you that 99/100 times the companies who make these cars will be generally unknowledgable about them and the true nature of there for...hauling ass! Save yourself the headache, get a better job and buy a true sports car.
