Strength:
Quality, appearance, GAS MILEAGE the big 3.
Weakness:
None I cannot say enough good things about this vehicle. It is a GT 5 speed with the action package in the color black. Looks like a baby Ferrari. I have had it about 8 months now. It has been trouble free, excellent looks and to top it off I have been getting 40+ mpg on the highway driving and 28 city driving. The high spoiler on the action package does away with the blind spot caused by the spoiler that is prevalent on the standard models. I cannot honestly think of another sports car on the road that I would rather be driving and that is a first. Similar Products Used: Ford Mustang, Mercury Cougar, VW New Beetle Turbo. |

Strength:
Power, control, awesome amenities, great safety features, hot looker, excellent trunk space, beautifully designed interior, great premium sound (I never even hooked up my kenwood system cause i liked it so much).
Weakness:
None to speak of. Well, where to start... I spent all of my driving life up until this car behind the wheel of a few American Musclecars. So, I had to grow up a bit and buy myself something more practical. I went and test drove the 6-speed GT-S model, fully loaded, and let me tell ya, I fell instantly in love! And that was before I even really started ripping things up. Going by the rule of keepin the hard driving off for the first 1000 miles, I took it real easy. That car was already a nice lil speeder then. Then I broke the 1k mark and found out the amazing world of variable valve timing. MAN was I impressed! OK so it wasn't exactly like my previous car, a Trans Am WS-6, but my god was it a lil ripper. Stock i rarely had a problem with pretty much any import on the road, not to mention almost every american short of the really high end bad boys. Then came the mods. I popped in an Injen CAI, Blitz exaust, Kazuma cam gears, and a custom header. The car Dyno'd at over 205 HP at that point, and with that light, nimble body, my 0-60 dropped below 6 seconds, and my quarter mile was a respectable 12.2. And that was before I was going to put a custom turbo, by Dynamic Designs in Canoga Park, CA. Well as my luck went, I lost it due to some negligent construction workers that left a pile of sand on the inside of a very sharp corner. Ran head-on into a light post. Then the car's safety features saved me. Unfortunately for me, the insurance company I was with sucked, and didn't pay off the car, so I had to cut my losses. I will buy one again someday, but for now I'm in a 97 Prelude SH (another GREAT car, but not quite as fast.) So, in conclusion, GET A CELICA GT-S!!! PS: Make sure to get the 6-speed, no point in a 4-speed auto in a ballsy car like that. Strength:
Acceleration, Toyota dependability, extended bumber to bumber warrantee, sounds and looks very niiice.
Weakness:
Shifter is a little sloppy (hope to fix with short shifter), shortage of aftermarket parts right now. I bought my car on June 1 and have not stop driving it. It is a loaded GT 5 speed in carbon blue. The only options I didn't get were the 6 cd changer and the security system. Already took care of the security system with a viper 600. This car is awesome and I am enjoying it more and more everyday. Sure beats the Saturn I used to drive. Very comfortable ride for me (6'3") Similar Products Used: Eclipse, Civic |

Strength:
-LOOKS GREAT. -EXCELLENT HANDLING -RELIABLE
Weakness:
-POOR ACCELERATION -HIGH MAINTENACE COST -THE PAINT CHIPS This car is off the chain! I own the red GT 4-cylinder automatic, and it looks tight! The handling is amazing, and it is surprisingly comfortable, (I'm 5'6", though.) EVERYONE loves my car. The sound system isn't bad for factory. If you buy one, however, you'll be touching up the paint before your first oil change. |

Strength:
Engine runs solid. Like new. Leather interior in good shape. Car is fast and sporty with minimal investment.
Weakness:
You have to like the fast back look which this has to appreciate the look of the car. But it is sporty. 1987 Celica GTS hatchback, 116,000 miles. |

Strength:
Power, for a four banger it can move. Handling is masterpiece, it can corner better than half the rice boy nock offs out there. ( Civic, Integra) The six speed box is a plus for high way and racing, but the shifting is an easy acident waiting to happen, the rods push to far the first and second.
Weakness:
Low end. the car can move at high rpms, but it takes a little time to get there. High way, there needs to be a little more torque to get you moving from a high speed to a faster speed. the interior is awsome the leather is great but the plastic is cheap. for a twenty thousand dollar car you should hope for some quality plastics or a carbon fiber to be stock. plus the paint is pretty week, chips and scratches easy. The car looks great, not alot of competition for a stock body kit and engine sound. The car can really move at high rpm, and for a vvtl-i system, it has to be toyota Genius. The sleek look of curves and stock alloy wheels, the celica can leave a lasting impression of what''s to come. Celica has been around for a long time but i think this time the 7th Generation is here to leave an impresion. Similar Products Used: not many, but it''s a great race for the new integra rsx-typ s |

HANDLING (Even at speed over 110mph you still are in total control of the car) VERY RELIABLE Great speakers
Weakness:
Maybe a little more HPs would have been great in that car. I know that the all-trac turbo version solve that problem but they are too rare to find at great price. This car is unbelievable !!! I have 265 000 KM on it and it still goes pretty well. The only big problem I had with this car is an electrical one (connection to the gas pump). Maybe it is not really fast but MAN IT HANDLES THE ROAD LIKE NOTHING !!! Even played some curves handling games with Porsche 911 Turbo. For sure (even if it is not really fast) it can beat civic''s asses anyday !!! Toyota you are the best and I cannot see when my love for my celica will end... maybe never. This car is eternal !!! 140 hp GT :-( and no auto-up for the driver window. Oh yeah black is sexy but gets dirty so easy! I wanted to get the GT-S but because of our tight budget we had to go with the GT and because my mom can''t drive a stick we had to pay extra for the automatic :-(. But regardless of all that this car is hot! I love this car! The steering is amazing and i always look forward to washing this car! It''s black and sooo sexy. It makes heads turn and girls follow everywhere i go! I can''t wait to trick this badboy out! Similar Products Used: Mitsubishi Eclipse |

Blind spots (obviously!, but spoiler can be used to obscure headlights behind) Why no inside auto-release for the hatchback? I''ve always driven Corollas and was getting bored. Had a hard time finding an auto-trans GT until I stumbled on my silver 2001 with 10,000 miles on it as a dealer program car. I LOVE IT! It''s quick enough off the line to keep me ahead of other city drivers, and an absolute blast on the highway, where it gets phenomenal mileage (particularly if I set the cruise at around 80.) It handles great in curves or corners, and highway passing is a real pleasure; just punch it and you''re up to 110 in a flash! The look is awesome and I always have a tan ''cause of the sunroof (which doesn''t let in much wind or road-noise) I''m learning to drive stick so that I can have even more fun in my next Celica!
