Strength:

Quality is pretty good, and I hear Saturns have a way of not wanting to die, maybe that is a bad thing. Well not for a car.

Weakness:

Doesnt hold there value if god asked it to.

I am not overly happy with my car. I drive to hell because I am a delivery drive. I have only had it maybe six months, and it has 35000 miles on it. I maintain it, and it drives fine. I guess its ok, but for nearly twenty thousand, I feel like I am missing out on something. I have a great system in it. Some people live under a superstition that subs wont fit in the car. Wrong. I have owned cars where they dont fit, and I could get 4 12''s in the trunk with the right box. Still even with a nice system, I feel like it is lacking. The think that blows my mind to no end is the fact that it has dropped over half its original value. That and the transmission exploded (warranty, thank god for warranty) and dropped out the bottom. And after I had the transmission fluid/filter changed. Oh well I am stuck with the car and it does serve its purpose even though I wish it had more power, or cornered better or something.

Strength:

Gas mileage, dependablity, low expense.

Weakness:

the size is the only down fall of this car but for someone who doesn''t have a family it would be a great car.

I Absolutely love my Saturn. I bought it with 103,000 mls on it & now there are 146,000 mls on it , and it is still going strong. I''ve had a few minor problems like a new water pump & battery but they are to be expected. The gas mileage is still very good, and I don''t take it in for service like I should. The only bad thing about the car is my husband is 6ft tall & he barely fits, & between him & me we have 3 kids so it doesn''t work for us any more, So we are ordering a new Saturn VUE. We took one for a test drive & it is great. I can''t wait to get it, I just can''t say enough about the Saturn Cars. They are great.

When I got into an accident a few years ago the passenger compartment was not affected, so whatever safety designs were used worked pretty well.

My 94 Saturn should have come with a six-pack of alternators. The FIRST morning I had this car, it failed to start. Turns out the battery was low, and later the alternator needed to be replaced. This was in 1998, and since then the alternator has been replaced about 4 times.(We''ve lost count)The timing chain has recently been replaced. This car has sluggish acceleration, and tends to sputter a lot. My saturn does not get the excellent gas mileage that other people report.

Strength:

quick acceleration, comfortable amount of room, nice look, reliable

Weakness:

none that i can think of, except that I wish it had more horsepower behind it

I was lookin for a cheaper car (under 15000) with great racing abilities and a cool look. I ended up with this car and I couldn''t be happier. I want to do some light racing, and even without any changed parts this car can blow some people away. The car runs great, and I haven''t had any problems yet. All my friends love my car, including even my friends who race (and know everything about fast cars), and said this was a good choice even up to the $20,000 range.

Cute, pretty much a chick car, but thats ok.... :) Gets GREAT gas mileage, which is a must for goin to the beach and back every weekend.

Weakness:

the inside is a little small, but since im 6''1, and still fit comfortably, i guess i cant complain too much.

What a car!!! My dad has been a mechanic for 20+years and did 2 thorough look overs of this car and the only thing wrong with it was a blown headgasket ( I know, I know, but the dude that previously owned it blew it up, not the cars fault.) I love it, its cute, drives great (and I have driven everything from Ford Trucks to Corvettes) Once I get a new system put in, this car is gonna be great.

I love this car. i have never had any problems with her....just regular scheduled maintenance and you''re good to go. a word to some people: if you want a car to last, you have to TAKE CARE OF IT. this car is reliable, fast -- thanks to the low end torque, and handles great in all weather and road conditions. Highly recommend this car to anyone

Hopefully the safety promise is valid. Haven''t had any accidents yet to verify. It''s gotten me where I needed to be so far.

Weakness:

SEE ABOVE PRODUCT REVIEW

I''m very unsatisfied with this car, and have already replaced many of the parts in it within the past year. I''ve replaced the windshield wiper motor, the battery, the serpentine belt, all four spark plugs, it has a loose hood, and the front passenger seat doesn''t stay locked into place. I sometimes have trouble starting the car, having to attempt ignition about 8 or 9 times before the engine slowly comes to life. I''ve experienced issues with the speaker on the front right side, the car rattles a great deal, and the seats are extremely uncomfortable. The car has poor pickup, it takes about 15 seconds to go from 0 to about 60mph. My car currently has about 49,000 miles on it, and I''m mortified the thing is going to die on me on the highway already. TWO THUMBS DOWN. Maybe good for a person who will not be driving it a great deal, or for short distances. Would NOT recommend this car for serious highway use.

Strength:

I had driven that car from hell and back. It never noticed. I loved that car, as if it were a part of me. That car was stolen December 24, 2001. The police recovered it, totaled. The crackheads who stole it crashed it into a ditch. Broke the engine head, radiator, smashed the interior and destroyed my "little red love". I went out immediately and purchased another Saturn. I am sold. My original SL2 had 165,000 miles at its end... it had little required work (an alternator, a compressor for the airconditioning)... I always had it serviced at 3,000 miles. It was a good car. So, needless to say, I bought another. I am sold on Saturn.

Weakness:

Models before 1996 are easy targets for theives.

I owned an SL2 1992.
