Strength:
Interior looks, exterior design, sound system is awesome, great mileage, superior handling/tight cornering, price, trunk space is great, spacious.
Weakness:
High beams are weak, brake system seems weak, engine vibrating, power mirror motor breaking, windshield sprayers rarely work. We were looking for a good-priced family car for the future. Owned a Plymouth Reliant for previous 7 years, so thought we''d stay with the Chrysler family. While under warranty, had fuel tank leak (minor), had fuel pump replaced, and had annoying loud vibrating noise from the engine. Took car to dealer numerous times for vibrating noise, but to no avail. Now has 44,000 miles with no major problems yet! Good pick up with the 5-speed stick. Brakes, however, seem weak and vibrate when used hard. Back brakes squeek in wet, cold weather until they warm up. Checked the shoes, but they were fine. Can''t figure out where the scraping/squeeking is taking place. No big deal. I''d probably purchase a Chevy Malibu or Pontiac Grand Am in the future. They cost a bit more, but more can be expected. Loaded car! Roomy interior! Great gas mileage!
Weakness:
End of warranty as of 4/02. 36,000 miles. Hate the dealership! At 24,000 replaced entire frontend! Replaced steering at 35,000. Car rusting out at 35,000 repainted before warranty was up. Lemoned the car. Settled with Chrysler! Going to fix up the car with settlement and try and keep it! Dealer failed to realigne the car after fixing the steering and frontend so it now needs new tires and alignment! Please everyone check around the cars hood, doors, and deck lid for rust!!!!!! Lots a premature rust! Please don''t let any problems happen to you!!!!!!!! Bought the car last year in production absolutely loaded. Power sunroof, keyless entry, power 8-way drivers seat, power locks, power mirrors, & windows... basically loaded. Silver, gray interior. It has 2.4 engine which I love. Similar Products Used: None |

Weakness:
Poor gas mileage, less than 500K to tank highway. Brakes, headgasket and rearend is awful for short people. I purchased this vehicle after driving a 1989 Dodge Shadow for 9 years. It had 35000 KM to date there is only 55000KM and already have had to change the cruise control, brakes and now a head gasket. Due to fact warranty has expired(according to dealer) it will cost 600.00+ to fix. Don''t like it at all. Similar Products Used: 1989 Shadow just died this year and both my daughter and son drove it. Would purchase another in a minute but not another breeze. |

EVERYTHING but the outside look. This car suckes. The stearing wheel vibrates at a stop. the brakes squeek. Eats brakes. Needs a new heater core $450.00 to fix. Spilling coolant onto floorboard of car. Replace Brakes $400.00. It has a nice look Seat material is in great condition. So is exterior or car. Everything about the inside of this car sucks. Similar Products Used: NONE... WONT EVER USE CHRYSLER< DODGE< OR PLYMOUTH AGINE>>>>>>I"LL STICK WITH HONDA it may be foreign but well made |

Strength:
Lots of room, style, stereo, gas milage, fold down back seat
Weakness:
brakes, shaking steering wheel, no power locks or windows, no tape player This is my first car and frankly it''s been real good to me. The only things that bug me are the brakes that sqeek, which I''m about to have the brake pads checked, and the fact that the steering wheel does shake alot at a stand still. Good gas milage. Stereo is great I love the system. Granted that it didn''t have a tape or CD player, but I''m about to have one put in. Great for going around in town. Good car for young drivers. |
