Good aceleration from 0 to 40 mph, kind of weak from 40 to 50. Nice looks outside, great inside. 16 in wheels and sport tires make this car a joy on winding roads.
Weakness:
Trans. seems a little weak, would like to know if anyone has had trouble with this over drive transaxel. This is my second Cutlass supreame. My first one was a 1990, also with a 3.1. My ex wife is still driving it and it is the toughest car I have ever seen. She killed a Sunbird, Taurus wagon, and Caravan in about three years, the Olds won''t die. So when my f150 gave up I went and found a Olds. I am very inpressed with the handeling and power of the 3.1. The trans. seems a little whinny though, the shift between 1st and 2nd is kind of a hard hitting feeling. I think a new filter and fluid may solve the problem. I drive 2hrs a day to my job, the Olds makes my commute a joy. Anyone looking for a fun, dependable car should seek these cars out. Similar Products Used: 1990 Olds Cutlass Supreame |

Radio placement, What a huge space aI am gonna have to fill.... So far I like the car, it was a rental before I bought it, so It has over 106,000 miles already on it. Body looks good as does the interior. Handels great, and plenty of power. (Much more power than the 1985 Cheep Cheeroke w/ the 2.8 I traded off for the Old''s) Similar Products Used: 1985 Cheep 1989 F-150 2001 Honda Oddesy |

No govenor in reverse! This thing has one fast reverse! The car was great, but someone should of told me the maximum recomended speed in reverse, because at about 65mph the car goes out of control and throughs you in the ditch! None--yet. So far I really like this car. It has the 2.8 V6 and has a 5-speed manual transmission--first one I''d seen on this type of car. |

Strength:
Nice interoir, good handeling, very dependable, economic, it''s pretty much all good.
Weakness:
No seperate compartment for the cigarette ash tray it has a removeable cup ashtray that fits into a cup holder below the gear shifter. leather seats wear easy, or was I just hard on them? Great car, I have''nt had too many problems with it. Quick on the go, good handling. The oly touble Ive has is: I''ve replaced teh Coolant level sensor abour 4 times and it needs it again. I think my brake calipers are sticking, reson being, Ive gone through about 3 sets of breaks in the past year and Im too cheap to get them fixed. And I thin I have a leak in my head gasket. My caw was bought new in Feb 1998 and Ive had it since. It now has about 70K miles on it and it runs great other than the troubles I mentioned. I''d recommend this car to anyone. Good mileage, 26MPG. Family-type car with seating for 5, large trunk. Reliable
Weakness:
Wind noise, rotors had to be turned too frequently. Bought this car at 30,000 miles, drove it until 156,000 with no major problems. THEN it started falling apart. First the fuel pump went, then less then 3 months later, the transmission went. Replaced that, but went out in 2 weeks. Traded it off then. No Problems what-so-ever. You Take car of your car and it will take car of you!!!!!!! This is the best car I''ve ever owned and probably the best car I will ever own. It has a 3.4L V6 DOHC Engine. It truly is beautiful inside and out for sure. Leather interior, sunroof, climate control, nice smooth ride, the whole works. You should definately get one of these cars well you still can.
