real wheel drive. quick!!!! 5-speed get up n go when touched.
Weakness:
weak differential only paying $550 for this car is the best thing i ever bought. to those of you who are disappointed tough luck. it has 176,000 miles and it still runs strong, faster than probes, cavy's, sunfires, s10s. |

Weakness:
anything else.... i purchased my 240 3 months ago, and i have to say i am very disapointed in it. almost everything burns me, and the car it self is falling apart, ive had to put several thousand into it, just to keep it running. i would advise anybody that wants to purchase a 240 NOT TO! i got sick of the look very quickly and wish i never bought it Similar Products Used: recently purchased an rsx type s... ohhh my gosh,,, million times better then 240 |

2.4L..good looking car...handles very well..bought the car brand new and have only had to replace the battery, tires and brakes, at this time the car has over 100k so I would say it is VERY reliable
Weakness:
car is light and likes to get crazy when there is a lot of water on the road. This is my 2nd Nissan 240sx. I had a 1992 that I traded in on a 1996. I will never get rid of this car. Actually I wish I still had the 92 as well. Similar Products Used: 1991 Mazda RX-7 |

ka24de is an excellent base motor for build ups.could use a little more torque and power,but thats what the aftermarkets for.
Weakness:
i havent really found any other than the torque. love the car,and minimal space.i only need 2 people in it anyways.excellent curves in the body.had it topped out one time.(sorry to all the cops)id say it can deffinately hold its own. Similar Products Used: 84 firebird 98 civic |

LSD rear end, RWD, Fast, Good acceleration, DOH Cams
Weakness:
none really Awsome Car. I ran it at the dragstrip. I ran a 10.5 the first time on 1/4 mile and the second time after I got new engine mounts tranny mounts and clutch I ran a 10.01 or something like that. In my opinion thats good for a stock car. I plan on selling this 240 and getting another newer 240 |

Excellent handling, interior styling of comparable to 2000 model cars, very zippy and RWD
Weakness:
none I have owned this car since october of 2002, It was wrecked in the front bad enough to throw the whole front body alignment off by 1 inch. But it is my baby, it has every option: power sunroof, heads up display, super hicas steering,and the 91 ka24de. The 91 is the best model year for the s13, the cams are better. On a dyno runs it put down 185hp at the wheels and 202ft.lbs. of torque with intake removal of secondary butterflies,exhaust and nismo cams and high flow pump. It will outhandle any four cylinder,and whoop any NA four cylinder. I have since got the car fixed and painted, and turboed the KA. Rebuilt the bottome end and put a t3/4 hybrid ball bearing turbo on. Skyline R34 Brakes,and many other mods. At 25lbs of boost it is putting down 467hp,and 428 ft. lbs. of torque. I love this car though It is the Best. Nissan makes the best cars in the world, it is a shame though that the best ones never make it to the U.S. Similar Products Used: 1985 nissan 300zx turbo (500,000) miles stock and still going. 1993 Ford mustang 4cyl. HANDLING. HANDLING. HANDLING. Looks fast and is. Will never let you down in a scary situation (i.e.-turned sideways in a sharp backcountry road curve with a Dodge Ram heading straight at you.) Just point and shoot steering.
Weakness:
Wimpy factory motor. Not enough low end torque. Rev limiter should be raised. Ever since I had to get rid of my '93 240 I swore that one day I would have another. I found it at a salvage yard and it was toast. It got t-boned, so the driver door was in the passenger seat. It looked super clean on the inside and my dad is an autobody repairman, so I got it and fixed it. THE BEST DAMNED FUN I'VE EVER HAD!!!! If you buy this car I recommend lowering it because it will outhandle just about anything...and look oh so fine doing it! Similar Products Used: '93 240SX SE |

how much on g*damb insurance???!!!!! parts ive heard someone please put a summary on how much they pay for insurance because i really want one but i dont know what to expect to pay for insurance. Similar Products Used: 2 chevrolet camaros 1 rally 92 sport and one bad ass 85 z28 the z hauled major ass and then it went into a van. wasnt my fault the tranny blew up or something. |

i have beaten a lot of cars off the line, stock. it does 0-60 in 8.0 seconds. great handling.
Weakness:
small back seat. not enough room for four or five people. Great car to drive and have fun with. It is my first Nissan and will never buy anything other. i would refer this vehicle to anyone. Similar Products Used: no other car i have driven is like the 240 sx. |

good sturdy frame, a true car built for racing. With the S14 SR20DET motor, i can toast anyone and everyone. mustang??? left him in the dust... civic.... was a joke. integra type r?? dont make me laugh. this car if a freaking cruise missle. ever see a S14 drift across a busy intersection?? if you come by my pad, u might catch a glimpse of my S14 flying across your car.... SIDEWAYS!!!
Weakness:
damn Ka24de motor it came with. only 155 horse power, with intake and exhaust, i felt a little power increase, but nothing to be proud of. All in all, this is an amazing car. Tight suspension, great handling, unique style. I loved this car ever since i laid eyes on it... i wish i could sleep in this baby.
