Good reliable car, great gas mileage, comfy ride, fast for what i paid for.
I just recently put a Evo kit on it, stage 2 turbo kit, front mount intercooler, hi flow gas rails, temp reduced headers, cat back system,
sparco racing plugs, racing flywheel and clutch. Befor i added on to my car it was at about 110 horsepower and it was very slow. I spent about seven-thousand and it has about 422 horsepower i can beat just about any import out there it was hard to find parts but i managed. Great kit car.
Its great because there is no one else that has my car especially when people think its a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. Its just looks and performs like one. Hopefully plan to get NOS in the following month.

Once it gets started does great on freeway ,stylish.

Accelerating on to the freeway, gets noisy when pressing the gas, seatbelts do not retract also hard to pull.

This car starts out slow but once it gets started it does fine I bought mine used and it is almost five years old and people have been asking me if it is a new car. I like it better than a civic because so many people drive them and I do not see as many people with mirages also it is great on gas but I have to put in premium If i do not that car does not act right It idles so quietly that once I thought that it turned off. And the speakers sound really nice but there is just a little bit of distortion. The interior could be better I think it looks kind of cheap And the carpet in the car is coming up. But besides that I really enjoy driving this car and the trunk is really big. Since this is my first car I think that it is really good for me but my next one I plan to get a better car THis is good for going to work and to school.

The 2001 Mitsubitshi Mirage De is alot of fun. Small, cheap, stylish, and not too pricey. I love it! Not as much as my old car, but im working on that.

ok...Verry, Verry slow! no exceleration for a 5 speed. only 90 horse power. no parts avaible for modifications. sucks to get rear ended in, it doesn't hold up at all!! mine got totaled with no problem by an old volvo that got no damage but a scratch on its bumper!! It is so slow, get a civic or something with more power. It's impossible to find an air filter for it without going to the dealer and paying an arm and a leg for it. lets see what elese...oh no tacdometer, so you have no clue how high you can rev it.

so slow for the money. test drive civic and other cars and compare the power. look at safty too if thats what you want get a volvo. it crunches just like that in a accident and is slowe...

Great gas milage, very quiet, smooth ride, sits low, can keep up with the best of them.

ummmmm, no cruise control, no power mirrors( so you get the mirror all dirty when you adjust it) trunk a little small for the cars size(could of been a little bigger). Hollow trunk so if you got a system(like i do) its gonna rattle on the outside. No real big issues to stress on the 94 version

In all its a great car for the average, not to shallow to say it sucks, and not to great to say its the best.

beats all civics ....except for the si, of course. pretty good power for a 1.8 liter mirage. Great body style, body kits, and has a great unique body style. excellent handling.

It's hell of a great car ....i got monds on my car such as 17" white racing dynamics ...obx exhaust ...cold air intake... customized front grill ......plannin' to install an evo 6 body kit/wing ...evo motor or a v6 from a galant ...supercharged ... ....it's hell of a great car as it already it is .....it gets crazy all hyped up!!!!! buy a miragE!! (1.8 liter of course)

i love the exterior/interior the handling of it is awesome one of the best cars i've own so far added a few things the hp motorsport cat-back system/weapon-r intake 8mm accel wires had 92hp beef it up to 140-150hp,trying to get it over 200hp but it's really hard to find performance parts for it

for people my age it's great because of all the performance imports popping up everywhere what's kind of cool i have the only dress up/beef up mirage around in my city for older people it's great on gas my car still gets good gas milage even with the performance parts i've added

the car is super fun. it looks super great when you tune it up. i am in the middle of doing that now, so far i have put in an air filter, new 17" ADR racing rims and some other litle things. i plan on expanding it. the interior is comfortable an dthe trunk is big.

i wish it would have some more pick up at the line but once it gets going its ok. i wish there would be more parts to tune it up for. there are plenty but rather hard to do.

i would definately recomend this car for anyone. im not saying that its the best car in the world but at a low price its definately worth the money. have fun and drive safely.

I bought the car for one hell of a price and the fact that it was a rental car before makes it alot better too. I'm in the process of upgrading it alot with high performance modifications. The mods are hard to find but they are out there. So far i have just put on a Weapon R cold air intake which made a huge difference. Next I found full Cat-Back exhaust that I will be buying. The car is really fun to drive and the body styling is really cool.
