Strength:

Smooth & quiet ride, good handling, sexy body styling, a speedy four cylinder. To sum it up, more car for less money.

Weakness:

I thought they stopped making manual side mirrors. The arm rest covers one of the cup holders. Needs more standard features.

I actually just bought the car so i haven't really had time to amke a good review of the car but so far i love it. It's runs smooth and quiet and it handles great. Only thing i don't like about it was the maual side mirrors. Power mirrors should've come standard. Can't recommend it though, only because i just got it. So far, great car.

Strength:

Looks, price, dependability

Weakness:

Cheap part

Great car for styling and price. Only problem is Mitsubishi uses cheap parts, brakes had to be replaced after 13k miles and tires after about 25k, battery at 30k. Even the service manager agreed that Mitsubishi uses cheap parts. None of which waranty covered. After having those thing fixed the car runs great.

Strength:

looks nice, nice sound system, reliable

Weakness:

BAD gas mileage, jerk in the transmission, no pick up

Bought this car in 2000 used but the car had very low milelage considering it's a 1996 (49,000 miles at time of purchase). The car now has 58,000 miles on it and a few things are going wrong with it....when going at a certain speed and then needing to brake, the car lets off a sudden slight jerk (guessing it is the transmission after reading other peoples reviews). I also needed to put in a new oxygen sensor and my emergancy brake is sticking so I can't use it. Over all I think it is a decent car, but still cant beleive that with only 58,000 miles the emergancy brake is sticking.

Strength:

* Body Style * Features * Horsepower * Price

Weakness:

* Gas Mileage lacks a little bit, or maybe its just these sky high prices.

I am a first time buyer. I own a Nissan Sentra which has done me extremely well these past couple of years, had excellent gas mileage. I was in the search for a newer vehicle preferably something 6 cylinders, but nothing gave me that kick like I wanted. I saw the Galant that I own now and took it for a spin, whomever the previous owner was took great care of it! I swear its 6 cylinder but its actually four. It drives extremely smooth, and picks up unbelievably fast.

Weakness:

Full of manufacturing deffects

Once I bought the car, it started to lose alignment. Nine months later I received a letter from Mitsubishi warning me of a manufacturing deffect on the car that causes dissalignment. I went to fix it but it was worthless. One month after the "repairment", I had an accident due to that deffect. I still have the car home because the insurance company is not responsible for manufacturing deffects. Car still crashed and Mitsubishi does not want to be responsible for the accident either. What a wonderful world !

Strength:

Great look and comforts. Microchip keys that will only start your car. dealerships are prompt on warranty work, if thats a strength. maybe they are used to it

Weakness:

gas mileage is 5 - 7 miles below listings. Car is sluggish(underpowered) some of the interior features are cheap looking. Door hinges will need to be lubricated a month after purchase. Heater started making clicking noise. goodyear tires sidewalls started to split and had to be replaced under warranty. Looks nice on the outside, but I know I bought a lemon. I'm mean a Japanese Lemon! better off with an old gremlin or tempo. You don't expect anything out of them!

all the reviews pointed towards it being a great car and the 0% interest was a great plus. The gtz test drove wonderfully and the infiniti stereo is wonderful. On the other hand, I would suggest getting the vehicle from your dealer for a day or two. Gas mileage is terrible and I've had 3 warranty reapirs. One for each month I've owneed the vehicle. Think of it as awant to be Toyota and then realize a Toyota is going to be worth the extra cash!!

Strength:

Character, gas mileage, performance, reliability

Weakness:

Brakes, resale value (Mitsubishis do not hold their value well because the rental companies dump thousands of them on the market every year)

I bought this car new and have found it to be extremely reliable. We have taken it on cross-continent road trips and commuted for over a year 40+ miles each way. Already have 60,000 trouble-free miles on it. We chose this model over the Toyota because it is much less boring and had a better price. I like the fact that it is a less common car, too. The only issue that we have had are the brakes. They have been replace twice already. The front rotors tend to warp very easily. Also, the leather steering wheel has peeled in one place. Otherwise, an exceptional automobile.

Great car. No problems. Would recommend car to anyone. The only problem I have is with the service departments at Mitsubishi. It must be a requirement for the service managers to be rude, and deny any problems with their cars.
