Strength:

I might still be able to sell it for salvage.

Weakness:

It's not worth any money. I've had this car for 2 1/2 months and it has been in the shop for a total of 7 weeks. My engine has filled up with gas twice, once right after I got it out of the shop getting it fixed for the first time it did it. This is a crappy car.

My first impression of this car was great. It's got a smooth ride and gets great gas milage. It's got lots of leg room and it turns corners nicely and has great power. I really liked this car, at first.

Strength:

great excelleration, great handling, great back seat.

Weakness:

could use more hp to make it scream.

what a great car, has leather, 24v DOHC engine, dual exaust. very fast off the line, but lacks top end pick up. it WILL burn rubber shifting into second gear maunually. handles surprizingly well for how big it is. it also has a great backseat-which is a must. overall a great family car, with a kick-ass engine.

grand marquis-the grand was bigger, couldnt handle for crap, but had a taller gear ratio and better excelleration @70mph+

Strength:

Powerful 24v engine. Plenty of room. A variety of safety features. Rear Air conditioning. Large trunk. Cell phone plug. Electric adustable pedals and seats.

Weakness:

Hard to see the front of the car and judge distances. Cassete deck is standard. Huge windows.

My experience has been nothing but enjoyable. The ride is very smooth and
enjoyable. On vacations I recieved excellent gas mileage (30 mpg). Also, easy to feel comfortable within at a fairly low cost.

Everything else

Where do I start? We've had headgaskets replaced (going on twice) motor replaced, transmission rebuilt, major brakes overhaul, radiator, sensors, water pump, tie-rods...now they are telling us the bottom is rusted out and good thing we aren't big we might fall through (even thought it was supposed to be salt-proof on the bottom), the ball joints need replaced, the cv boots are cracked, not to mention the rattling that occurs on the highway. All of this happened at 100,000 miles or less!!!!!!! You wonder why we did this? It started happening to us less than three months after buying it, and we couldn't get another loan or car so we had to start doing repairs instead :-(
Buying this car was the stupidest mistake we ever made.

This is our first car; but we later bought a junked out Ford Escort for a second car that had over 200,000 miles on it and never had anything major done to it.

I have been very happy with this vehicle. It is comfortable, the AC is powerful and the breaking is excellent (disks on all 4 wheels). Fuel economy and acceration are adequate.
