Strength:
This car has no strengths other that the fact that the Mazda 6 has replaced it!
Weakness:
The whole car! And it's dealerships! My husband and I have put more into this car than all our cars together! What a piece!!! The lateral links have gone bad, the motor in the steering wheel has gone bad, the enigine light NEVER goes off! On top of that, we put in Spitfire sparkplugs (great brand) a few months back, two weeks ago the spark plugs literally blew out of the engine block and landing in the road beneath the car! It left a dent in the hood and had to have the block rethreaded. CD player doesn't work when it's too cold. I could keep going! We got ripped! With al it's problems and Mazda has NEVER recalled any of the problems mentioned above. Even though according to them, "No big deal, it happens all the time". It is a big deal this is MY money! Similar Products Used: Never buy anything other than a Mitsubishi, Honda or Nissan! |

Strength:
This care is great, for it to be almost ten years old I still get compliments. I have 152,000 miles and have not had a complaint. All it takes is oil chages on regular,(still every 3,000 miles) and a Timing belt. Drives excellent.
Weakness:
Slooooooow, Who's smart Ideas was it to stop making the (Milly)? I assume since Mazda came out with the new Mazda 6, and coming soon a Mazda 3, then they'll have a Mazda 9 Surely a Pleasure to drive, excellent styling, and nice features, all at price, better than what I expected. Similar Products Used: 97-Mercedes E Class=Costly when time for repair. Sold meanwhile I kept my "Milly" 92-Ford Explorer= Great Utility, 180,000 miles and still running. |

Strength:
Rides quite and smooth.
Weakness:
Both front tires had bulging and need to be replaced when tread was only a quarter used. Neither the dealer nor Goodyear/Dunlop were interested in helping-I received nothing but the run around. After a full cost to replace I would never buy another Mazda product again. The vehicle has been great for long trips and a smooth drive. Similar Products Used: Always drove Nissan or Chrysler products in the past with out any tire issues-will go back to one of those products in the future. |

steering... comfort.. power for a family car... quiet, especially at 104k miles,
Weakness:
engine lights.. (02 sensors) quiet NORMAL for lot of 2.5 engines... that have more than 60k miles.. if you dont change the 02 every 60k miles.. you will have bad gas mileage. CHANGE THEM and you will get better gas mileage.. my project now is to change those.. my probe had the same problem til i changed it.. it was SUPERB on gas... all i gotta say... i had it for a week now.. I LOVE IT.. i also own a Ford Probe GT with the same engine and i love how those mazda motors last a LONG time... also had a 1991 Probe GT too... Strength:
Sexy look, Bose system
Weakness:
Grey interior, instead of black. Doesn't pick up the way it use to when I first bought it. Doesn't have radio changeror air condition changer in the back of the car. I just got my millenia this past September for my senior year in highschool. Its awesome, I love this car to death. I have a two-tone one, black and gray. I love the way it rides, it rides smooth. I like the steering wheel that goes up and down be itself when you turn the car on. Its such a sexy , sleek car. My Millenia is my baby. It takes care of me on the road! I wish Millenias were made in convertibles. The Millenia looks better than the lexus, the bmw and the mercedes benz to me.I named my Millenia Precioso. Because it is indeed precious! Love You , Baby! Weakness:
SO SLOW underpowered, cupholders are to small, no room for legs in backseat, backseat does not fold down, rough ride, inside trunk opener never works Started out looking for a Maxima and just happened to come across the Millenia. I guess the styling, sunroof and leather for a good price made me buy. All I have to say is this car is all show and no go! What was Mazda thinking underpowering such a nice car? |

Strength:
Supercharger is awesome, quick response, absolutely no torque steer!! flawless interior, good Bose sound, reliable engine, transmission. Feels like you are flying the car. Well-composed at speeds over 100 mph. You take of the car, the car will take car of you.
Weakness:
I feel sorry anybody over 6' sitting in the back seat. Small trunk space. Original Dunlop tires had tire thread separation only afer 25,000 miles. Perfect for married couples w/o children for weekend getaways. Mazda does not make this car any more - what the heck is a Mazda "6"??? After 3 years, my 2000 Millenia S is still going strong. Aside from the oil/filter change, the only problem has been an oxygen sensor in the fuel delivery system. - Fixed at Classic Mazda, Orlando will on vacation. Given the extreme hot, humid weather in living in South Texas, this car holds up extremely well. I have never driven a BMW, Mercedes, Lexus to compare, but after 58,000 miles with this car I don't have any desire to. I would hate to drive this car without the supercharger, it makes a big difference. Still get second looks, and have fun replying to the question "Are those factory wheels?!" |

I bought this car used, have driven it for just over 1 year, 32,000 miles. I love it. Drives like a sports car, rides like a luxury car. The only things I would change would be to increase the back seat leg room by 3 more inches, have the atuo door unlock keyfob open the passenger side front door as well, and have them issue a warning that changing the timing chain at 60,000 miles casts over $700. Other than changing a driving light bulb, and changing the oil and filter, I have not had to do anything else to this car. I would gladly buy another one if they still made the Millenia. |

Weakness:
str column was broke, bad cupholder location should have had more auto functions on windows and sunroof i bought my used 97 millenia pearl white with tan leather and i love the car. the str column tilt was broke but the dealer replace the motor and now it works fine i have driven many bmw, nissan, mercedes and my millenia hangs with them all power is great comfort and style are awesome, my friends all think it is a 2002 model because of the style im a shorter guy and the seats are perfect for someone of 5'5 and 130 lbs just a great car so far i only hope the quality remains Similar Products Used: bmw 328i,mazada 626,maxima |

Nice drive when the TSC light is not on.
Weakness:
Engine light and TSC light!!!!! Do not like this car at all. The Engine light turned on and the dealership refuses to fix it. Occasionaly, the "TSC Off" light turns on and the car stalls." It goes away after the car is turned off and started again. However, it appears after a while. At first the dealership said there was not problem and then later on said they can't fixed it. When I first test drove this car I really liked it but now I absolutely regret buying this car. |
