Strength:
Looks better than the Accord. Nice color selections, sound system
Weakness:
No cup holders, arm rest too low My used Altima had as much pick up and at least it had cup holders and more wood grain. Car has been in shop 3 times in one year for same problem (rotten egg smell from engine). My dealer was finally told that problem is common in the G20 and can''t be fixed. I drove this car for a year before the manufacturer informed the dealer that it can''t be fixed. Watch out for lemons! Similar Products Used: Accord, Jetta, Altima |

Strength:
Price, reliability, gas mileage
Weakness:
cupholders (or lack thereof), ammenities. If you''re looking for a true luxury car, go elsewhere. I have the G20 with leather, sunroof, etc... Acceleration is not impressive. With automatic transmission, I need to put the car in 2nd gear to get any sort of pick-up from a dead stop. The engine runs well. No exterior temperature gauge or compass. I have had no problems with the car with the exception of the vanity mirror and the lack of cupholders. You''d think this is a minor problem, but I can''t tell you how many times something has spilled because the one cupholder in the front seat was too shallow. Also, the sunroof does not automatically shut when the engine turns off. All in all, it is a decent car for the money, but unless the aforementioned concerns are corrected, I would not recommend this car. Similar Products Used: Saab 9-3, Audi A-4 |

Strength:
Looks, handling, sound system, looks (again), comfort. Gas mileage is unreal. 30 mpg at 77mph for 300 miles straight!!
Weakness:
Cup holders might as well not be there. Console is small. Mine is a 2002 Luxury with factory customized accessories which placed it on the dealers show room floor. I highly recommend this car with additions such as chrome wheels, woodgrain dash, two tone paint (black w/gray bottom), pin-stripe, wind deflector, tint, plus more. As far as performance, acceleration is fine. I read the reviews about the poor acceleration but I have no complaints. The car is slow to 20 MPH, but who cares. Lots of power in the passing range. Car seems to run better after break in. (Currently 2500 miles on it). Similar Products Used: I was sold after a test drive. I come from a long line of V8 domestic trucks. |

Strength:
About as good a balance between economy and power (for a 4 cyl) as I''ve ever found. Reliability is wonderful...very few problems.
Weakness:
These are minor, but irritating...no cupholders and keyless remote is weak and inconsistent. Overall a terriffic value. I bought this used w/ 24k miles to replace my 92 G20 w/ 130k miles. The overall cost of ownership must be pretty dang low. Similar Products Used: Mazda 626 LX (4 cyl). Both are good cars, but the G20 has better build quality and reliability. |

Strength:
Leather, sunroof, keyless entry, six speaker Bose stereo, automatic climate control for a good price.
Weakness:
Engine power and cup holder. Also, the trunk is kind of heavy. Great car for the money. I love the leather and sunroof. Great warranty and road side assistance plan. I wish it had a few more horses and the cup holders are god awful, but other than that I''m a satisfied customer. Similar Products Used: None |

Features for cost Sound system Handling Feels very solid and well-built Warranty and dealer experience
Weakness:
Leg room for larger drivers Acceleration from stop Sport model comes with spoiler I decided to sell my 1996 Maxima 5 speed SE while it still had value. I was looking for a small, affordable, five-speed sedan, with nice creature comforts (roof, leather, high quality sound, etc.) I was able to find it on carsdirect.com for about $1500 less than invoice! It is probably the best deal out there for getting these features in a quality car. And the handling is spectacular (much more fun than the Maxima)! My only regret is the power (it is definitely a come-down from the Maxima), although once you are moving, it feels plenty quick. I also would not recommend it to anyone over 6.1. I am 6.1 and am pushing the limit on fit, leg room, etc. Similar Products Used: I looked at a number of other small, four door 5 speed sedans. Not impressed with Saab 93 (felt small and didn''t like feel), Focus (felt cheap!), Neon (ditto), Volvo s40 (felt too cramped), Camry, A |

Strength:
- Universal home transmitter (garage door opener, lights)
Weakness:
- Cup holders are useless; hook the center arm-rest cup holder on the passenger door map holder. Excellent car both in absolute value and in value for price. Comfortable in acceleration, mid-range, and at speed. No worries getting to highway speed since you take the on-ramp at 60mph anyway. G20 (automatic)
Strength:
3-series BMW looks, great handling, good ride, reliability, descent gas mileage, nice leather, infinity name/service, excellent warranty
Weakness:
Lack of horsepower/torque, not available in a V-6, not a rear wheel drive like BMW, no cupholders... I've had this car for a little over a year now and it has been great overall. When I bought the G20, it had only 27k miles and 1.5 years factory warranty remaining. The car has all the luxury I need with the leather seats, wood trim, CD player, moonroof, etc...It has been reliable so far and seems to be a quality built automobile. Where it lacks in horsepower it makes up for in handling and comfort. It's a great commuter car and is almost as fun to drive as the '91 Miata I used to have. I recommend this vehicle to anyone who wouldn't mind having a reasonably priced, great handling luxury car, that is just a little underpowered when it comes to taking off at a stoplight. Power window motors go bad, when AC on, saps engine power, starting problems after a time In Nov. 1992, I paid 17K o.t.d. I bought the base model, cloth, 5 speed, no sunroof. I have always thought the styling of the G was distinctive and striking. It still looks progressive almost 8 years after I bought it. The car now has 168K, mostly 5th gear miles and going strong. I have replace two batteries, replaced tires three times, the drivers side power window motor (after expiration of the warrenty, $660! ouch!) The clutch was replaced at 140K. The front brakes have been redone, still on the original rears. Still have not replace the struts. The water pump and hoses were replaced at 140K, the water pump was leaking slightly. I have run Mobil One oil exclusively since the second oil change, highly recommended! Car averages 28 - 33 mpg. My previous car, a Volkswagon Golf was in the shop A LOT! My G20 barely. The batteries go when they say they will, so if your original battery is a 48 month one, expect it to die around end of the period. One thing to keep an eye on also - the distributor cap and rotor last about 90K. Highly recommended to check these periodically, and replace if looking worn out. Also, the power radio antenna stopped working around 130K, at about $300 to replace and fix, I have let it just stay down in its housing. I'll fix it when I'm ready to sell. If you are tempted to power wash the engine, be very careful about water getting down the spark plug holes, it happens very easily with the way they sit up on top of the engine. I got water down there and it shorts out the plugs, making the motor run spastically. Only way I found to remove the water was to tape a drinking straw to the end of vacuum hose. Its flexible and narrow enough to slip past the plug to the bottom of the hole. Once the water is sucked out, remove the plug and plug wire and wipe dry. Lately, the engine takes a number of tries to start, especially after its been driven and is hot. I have had the filters changed, injectors purged, have added many cans of injector cleaner to tanks of gass. Nothing seems to really take it back to the original quick starting behavior.
