Model Reviewed: G20

Strength:

Lots of standard features, beautiful Ivory Pearl White paint color, strong engine with good acceleration. Very reliable!!! Outstanding Infiniti service...the best treatment from a dealer ever...I have been hooked on luxury cars ever since that experience. You are treated like a king...

Weakness:

Dislike the black plastic side moldings around the car. Depreciates too much - excellent deal for a used car buyer --> bad deal for a new car buyer who changes cars every 2-3 years. Long term - doesn't matter - great value.

Nice looking car with that could outperform the BMW 318 of the same year or years....very reliable.

I sold my 1991 Infiniti G20 after 2.5 years...kind of regret it...but I am intending to buy another one and hold on to it long term...especially as an everyday driver to work. For the price, warranty, long list of features, comfort, high reliability, and dealership service....you can't beat this!!!!!

1982 Nissan Maxima, 1987.5 Nissan Maxima, 1991 Nissan Sentra XE...driven the BMW 318, Honda Accord, Ford Taurus, and Toyota Camry....the Infiniti G20 drives better, looks better, more features, higher reliability and better service than all the rest....by a wide margin.

Handling, braking, comfort, window controls in the center console instead of on the door.

None

Overall I really like the car. If you are planning to purchase a G20, make sure to get one with a 5 speed trans. and a sunroof. The 5 speed really makes the car have that extra kick that the automatic just doesn't give. What I've also heard is that the A.C. goes out around 100,000 miles. Mine has 98,000 and the A.C. was broken when I got it. Thats one of the reasons that I got the car for $3,000. The other reason was that there is a dent in the door and a few small tears in the leather. If you're planning to buy one of these, high blue book is 4,100 for the model I have in fair condition. Low blue book is 2,700.
