Strength:
fast, super tight handling, awesome pick-up, lots of extras come standard
Weakness:
terrible back view, especially if you are short. Hard to see when backing up, and visibility out of the rear is poor, but much better than the previous generation. This is a great car for anyone who appreciates raw power, I reccomend the DOHC VTEC Similar Products Used: 92 prelude si |

handles good fast looks good there is way to much to list it all
Weakness:
when the A/C is on it boggs down a little I got my car after I was ran off the road by a pick up. At first I was not sure it was the right car for me, but now I would never give it up. |

Speed, aesthetics, power, handling, all the toys for a modest price.
Weakness:

Strength:
great reliability, good suspension, fast cornering, real driver's car
Weakness:
1. Bad back visibility, especially when you drive back (i know that this car is created to drive forward, but rare visibility should be better), too heavy back for this car, can't call designers job perfect :( 2. EFI system works bad at idle engine speed, switching on A/C causes too low idle rpm (other cars i've used do not have such problem) Great car for its money, reliable and great handling. Not much space inside, but how should coupe be? 2 liter SOHC 16 valve 133 bhp engine is just ordinary, (2.2 VTEC fits better for this car). Many reviews on this model are too positive, that was a reason for me to buy prelude, coz I like honda's in general, they are much more cars than otehrs by definition :) But I expected more from Prelude, too many things to improve in it up to me. VTEC!!This car is very very fast compared to my old 2.2 sohc non-vtec lude. Hitting the VTEC in all gears gets scary fast very quickly. Amazing.
Weakness:
NONE!!! This car is so sweet. I recently had a 92 Prelude S and it got totaled in my school parking lot(long story). I loved that car and thought it was sweet. Then i was blessed to find a 95 vtec lude with a high-flow cat and catback exhaust already installed. WOW. I had never driven a vtec anything and boy oh' boy i didn't know what i was missing. I hit that vtec for the first time and it gave me chills. Amazing car. Unbelievable engine. Can't wait to hit the track and see how she does. Similar Products Used: 90 honda accord lx- loved car but had no balls. 92 honda prelude S-doesn't compare to vtec.Only ran a 16.4 1/4 mile with it and it had intake/exhaust/shortshifter. |

Great speed Sexy looks Awesome street car
Weakness:
None I just got my 98 Prelude SH and the only thing I can say is that this car is bad ass!! Mine is red, and boy does it get looks. This car is not only a great display of looks but its fast too!! And the stock exhaust on mine is wicked! It has a low, throaty tone, like an aftermarket system, but guess what, its stock!! I love it! It gets great gas mileage and its overall a great car! I wouldn't trade it for the world. Preludes are so rare nowadays. I looked for a year and a half for this one and I'm oh-so-glad i found it!! |

the clutch is starting to slip for a second time For an old car this is one of the tidist cars of its age no rust only 145 000 on the clock its much quicker than most other 1800cc motterd cars.im also runnig two 15inch sony explods of a 600 watt amp that fits perfictly into the good size boot Similar Products Used: a Mr2 (no contest) |

A real drivers car. Vtec is a rush, along with the handling being superb. OK gas mileage.
Weakness:
Reapairs but warranty took care of most of em. I have had my lude for almost 4 years and I still am addicted to the vtec crossover. Superb handling,quick accelleration,and nice looks add up to a great ride. Repairs have been needed but i have a warranty. I have replaced my radiator,clutch,transmission main gasket leak,power steering leak,front and back breaks,timing belt,water pump,cvjoints,tie rods,belt tensioners,vtec solienoid,3 new tires,60000 service,engine mount,2 batteries,drive shaft leak,approximately 20 oil changes,and master/slave clutch cylinder.
