Strength:

-Quick, Can drag race quite nicely
-Corners Like its on rails
-Inexpensive Upkeep/ Easy to maintain
-Looks cool
-Student Budget Fuel Efficiency... You'll pay more for insurance than for gas
-Plenty of Leg room
-Lots of space under the hatch (fits two snowboards and a bunch of gear)
-FUN TO DRIVE!

Weakness:

-Structural Integrity of a beer can. Probably not as secure as the Ford Excusion
-Odd Noises when traveling on bumpy roads
-Crappy Stock sound system, I believe they used dixie cups for speakers.
-No Cup Holders
-Doesn't have breasts (if it did, we wouldn't need women)

I paid $4K for My CRX and I love that thing. Its very fun to drive, has minimal upkeep, and is customizable. I swapped the stock rims with Monotoora single spoked rims, and added a 10' subwoofer in the back. All in all, I wish Honda Re-released the CRX and got rid of the Del-Sol. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. Truly a great first car.

A Mig Jet, A Golf Cart, and my Ex-Girlfriend, The CRX is far more economical and easier to license than the Mig. It handles and feels about the same, but the Mig requires vast expanses for take-offs and landings. The Golf-cart was about comparable in price, but maxed out in speed at around 30 Mph, Oh yeah, and you get drenched in the rain with a golf-cart, My Ex-girlfriend looks better than most CRXs, however Upkeep and maintenence was much more time-consuming than with the CRX

Strength:

This is the quickest 4 cyl. I have ever driven. Excellent on mileage. Easy and inexpensive upgrades. Low, road hugging design. Reliable. And last but not least, very attractive for an early '90's car.

Weakness:

My only complaint is the relentless squeaking of the hatch.

I paid $3000 for it because it needed a new engine. Threw a $600 zc (import) engine in and a performance intake and exhaust and it purrs like a kitten. I would highly recommend this sweet little car to anyone looking for a quick sporty car for a small price. Go for the Si. Much quicker than Hf and you still get excellent gas mileage.

Strength:

-Suprisingly roomy
-Great acceleration
-Lots of storage space
-Easy to maintain
-Great handling
-Impressive gas mileage, love the gas mileage, did I mention the gas mileage?

Weakness:

-Rear view visibility could be better
-A little hard to step out of from a sitting position (I'm 6'3")
-Cheap materials used on the rear hatchback interior compartment door, it broke in half, but I bought it used
-Cheap stock sound system, invest in a stereo and speakers.

I paid $5,000 for it from a used car dealership in Napa. It's the best investment I ever made in a car.

I'm 6'3" and people don't believe I can fit in this car. Honestly, it has more room than any two seater I've ever been in. I don't even put my seat back all the way! I feel like I'm in a sportscar. The value of this car is immeasurable. It't great for getting groceries, it fits tons of luggage, it takes me and a buddy golfing all the time with two big golf bags and pull carts in the back. I can fit a mountain bike, snowboards, you name it.

I'm pushing 160,000 miles in this car and haven't had any major problems with this car yet other than the usual timing belt replacement at 120,000 miles. This baby sips gas. I gets about 33cty/40hwy mpg. It takes about a minute to wash and wax. Do-it-yourself oil changes, air filter, spark plug changes are a snap.

I highly recommend this car to anyone who drives more than 20 miles to work. I also recommend it to starving high school/college students who are on a budget. The maintenance is really inexpensive and parts are easy to find for this car.

If you can afford it, and you want better handling, buy 16 or 17 inch rims with tires for better handling. It will ride like it's on rails.

I'm only allowed to give it 5 stars, but that doesn't do it justice.

Strength:

Fast as anything out there!! These little cars fly, in my opinion Honda has and probably will continue to dominate the small performance motor for a long time to come. Reliable as lang as you give them proper maintainance, regular oil changes (2500mi) are a must.

Weakness:

Valves kinda noisy, and that back hatch loud and heavy!

I bought mine because 1; I have been in the import racing scene for about two and a half years, and have always loved Honda 2;Honda's are not just for racing, they make reliable cars that are safe and easy to maintain 3; Honda rules what other car company can say the have specific outputs that put them ahead of cars costing thousands more?? A Type R Integra has more hp per liter than a Dodge Viper!! (Don't believe me, look it up!!!!) I'm running high 13's in a relatively stock crx si old red paint nuttin special, if you see me watch out!!! If you want a good car for a little bit of money buy one, if you want a fast, good car buy the SI, just buy one!!!!

Similar Products Used:

Turbo Eclipse, Ford Probe GT, Escort GT, Chevy Z24 Cavalier. The SI out accellerates, out handles, and just out does these other "sport" cars!! Honda's SI badge dominates.

Strength:

Great gas mileage. I constantly get 40miles/galon on day-to-day, 50miles/galon on freeway only trip. Nice style with very practical space for luggage. Reliable. I bought this car brand new and the odd meter is now at 200,000miles(320,000Km) on the original engin. It just keeps going.

Weakness:

It can use little more power. Engine is bit noisy.

I strongly recommend CRX to anyone who wants to get a reliable small car for commute or whatever. It provides you with everything a small car can offer. It had one recall. Make sure to ask the owner if he/she replaced the ignition coil. If not, the car could die on you without any warning. Excellent car. It is too bad that Honda doens't make it any longer.

interior feels like a cockpit, a lot of aftermarket support, it will run forever, pulls very nice, handles great, chicks love 'em.

Weakness:

squeaky hatch, rust in wheel wells, honda charges way to much for parts ie. interior pieces

3500 with a little rust but hard to find one without. a litte body work and paint, really inexspensive motor swap and i have a brand new car. i'd recommend this car as a first car or to someone who can appreciate it's sporty feel. this car begs to be driven hard and lovees to be revved. i drive one now and the only way i'm going to get rid of it is if it blows up or gets totaled like my last one did.

Strength:

Still has a nice body style for a 10+ year old design. Nice cockpit-like interior and comfortable seats. Bulletproof reliability and great economy.

Weakness:

Under-powered (obviously) and perhaps noisy, but hey- it's a small hatchback.

While the HF's 62 horsepower isn't going to win you any races, the mileage is outstanding. Pulls 35-40 city and nearly 60 highway on long runs, even at 70-75 mph. And with regular maintenence they should last forever. I haven't had a single problem in the 8 years I've owned mine.
