Strength:

fast, quick, fun. Good Mazda motor. Mechanics tell me that they very seldom get a change to work on this motor and love it when they can.

Weakness:

inside door panels, I understand that the distributor is a problem, I was lucky to last 147,000 miles without needing one. Parts are so expensive for this car.

I have owned this car for 9 years. It is such a fun car to drive. It is fast and quick. It had 30,000 miles on it when I got it. It now has 147,000. I just had to replace the distributor and brakes. It still needs struts. I love the car, it is still pretty and cute sytling.

Strength:

Very fun to drive, plenty of power for a wee 2.5 L. Giant trunk, even with back seats not folded down. Few problems for amount of kms it has.

Weakness:

Very expensive parts. Little leg room in back seat. Minor electrical issues, door panels don't like staying on.

Great little speedster. Never thought I'd buy a Ford product. Giving that the majority of the mechanical is made by Mazda, I bought it. Had a few problems within the first 6 months. Ignitor coil seems to be a common problem...pretty expensive one to fix too. Paid $1100 CDN to fix it. Parts are expensive for this car, maybe more expensive in Canada. Other than some axle problems (most likely caused by me laying rubber for the first few months over and over), the car has been incredibly reliable. Had it for 3 years now, has almost 260,000 km. Runs like it has 100,000 on it. Regular maintenance done since the first owner...must make a difference since I don't think most of these engines make it as far as mine has.

Still has the dent , but since than the car is really bad faded, i've had to but a new muffler on, distributor, new boots, oil pans, struts, and alot more stuff i can't think of. I do like this car however it was borken into after only haveing the car for 4 months and the doors are now all messed up. Nothing special about this 93 thou no power nothing and no AC.So been looking to price a paint job and doors. I've been looking for a new car but nothing has caught my eye yet. Great Stereo, excellent control of car, nice intake.

Weakness:

None so far...

I personally love my Probe. I bought it back in September as an MTX, and it is quite possibly one of the best cars I have owned. Came with a great after-marker stereo, and a few upgrades. Have had no problems...

Strength:

Firm but balanced handling, very neutral. Fantastic engine, gobs of torgue for 2.5L. Like a turbine. Smooth clutch. Back area holds a lot of stuff with the back seats folded down.

Weakness:

Expensive parts to maintain. Repairs other than the airconditioner have been about normal for the miles and age. Interior is cloth and plastic parts seem fragile, but nothing has actually broken.

Bought new. 1st 1000 miles had a rock hard ride, then softened. 75K miles now. Air conditioner system rebuilt. Third set of tires. Kyomo's. Love them. Best handling and fun car I've had after my 1968 Porsche 912. Replace the oxygen sensors and the spark plug wires every 50K miles and save yourself a lot of engine warning lights. Replace brake pads and dramatically improve the brakes.

good accleation in 2nd 3rd gear good top end in 4th and 5th

Weakness:

i found parts for the car but they had to be specialed order. also performence parts were very expencive 500 dollars for an exhaust when i fount one made by pace setters for 230

i bought te car in september it handled like a race car nice smooth ride and i compared it to my mom 92 probe gl and my is a big improvment both handling and speed. the probe gl vibrates after the speed of 65-70 mph the 95 probe gt handled the roads much better speed up to 115 and no vibration (not my top speed)

Strength:

smooth ride, nice handling, head turner with only a few $$$ invested, gas milege is pretty decent

Weakness:

got some strange electrical problems at times(doing the engine rebuild/rewiring myself probally accounts for that), parts are pricy but not even close to the prices of jetta parts

bought the car at 170 000km's. whoever owned the car b4 me drove it like crap. since i got it ive rebuilt the engine top to bottom, new rubber all around, new disc's and rotors up front and various other little problems kept on surfacing. since then the car has run cherry. audio is the weakest ive seen/heard in a stock setup but thats an easy thing to correct and a little $$$ invested sounds pretty decent inside the car with minimal rattling. rear seats/space is tight but who cares its not you sittin back there, is it. all in all you cant get a better sports coupe for your buck unless your mom and pops are rich and buy your spoiled ass somethin better
