Strength:
Looks, Trunk Space, interior Space, and towing power
Weakness:
Alloy wheels leak, plastic protection flacking off causing Alloy to be exposed to corrosion. Bypass tube need replacing. The crownvictoria is a great expample of the deffinition of a great american vehicle. Following the tradition of the 70''s it now has fit into the 90''s without problems. The car still has the silent ride and smooth ride, comfortable seats, huge drunk, and class. But all this is now fit into a smooth aerodynamic body. The only problems I have had is that the Ally Wheels leak, and the Bypass tube needs to be replaced once a year. Outside of that. Great, great car! Similar Products Used: 1990 Ford Country Squire |

Strength:
Strong, powerful, spacious.
Weakness:
cannot find a decent mechanic who can work on the Venturi Variable Carb. Also the vacume system. The 5.8 v8 is heaven.Oh my god the power. Can outrun every car there is. The speedodmeter has 140 miles but trust me you can get it up to 180.I love this car. Similar Products Used: nothing compares to this beauty. |

Motoform
Strength:
I it because, barring trucks, it is the LAST full size RWD American V8. Style Crashworthiness
Weakness:
Lots of things are wrong from the factory! The rear end of the car dropped! Especially with a hitch installed. I have upgraded the suspension: Police interceptor springs Addco anti-sway bars Energy suspension polyurethane bushings Bilstein shocks. 17" Motoform Wheels w/ 255 50 R 17 BF Goodrich KDWS rubber I have a Borla SS dual cat back exhaust insalled. I have installed a Detroit Tru Trac Limited slip differential w/ 3.73 gears. Done Steeda underdrive pulleys. I have a Aluminum metal matrix driveshaft and 11.25" Torque converter to install. Still need a chip. The car desperately needs nice bucket seats and a console. I bought this car in Sept. 1999 with only 5K miles on the odometer. Have driven it about 60K in the last two years. Under warranty I had to have the right hand catalytic converter replace because it rattled. Have s wheel stud that broke off replaced, and I had to hae a factory grommet that goes through the firewall fixed. It was not sealed from the factory and water leaked into the interior. It would have ruined the car had I not found the leak. It got pretty wet on the floorboard. Similar Products Used: None |

Strength:
this list in complete form is very long: the 4.6L V8, highway driving, safety, room, trunk, comfort & ease of maintenance.
Weakness:
''92 thru ''97 brakes...some tranny issues fixed by a shift kit or a custom chip. with so many reviews, i will keep it short: this IS ford''s secret weapon & by far the best car i have ever owned. i feel in love with my ''93 (bought in ''99) & then got my wife an immaculate ''98 LX this year. check www.crownvicmuscle.com for more thoughts. Strength:
excellent ride, reliable, strong, quiet, smooth running, comfortable for 6 people. Powerful, ice cold AC.
Weakness:
poor snow traction (If i lived down south I''d still own it) I bought this car in 1995 with 106,000 miles on it. I sold it in 2000 to my sister so she could use to pull her boat. I can''t say enough about this car. It was strong, comfortable, reliable. I put over 60,000 miles on it in 5 years and only replaced the alternator, brakes and tires. I can see why police and taxi''s choose this vehicle!! Similar Products Used: None |

Crown Vic Interceptor
Strength:
Power power power! Beat a Camaro on takeoff! Still got 25.3mpg on highway. Hard to believe this car has only 210hp as specs say.
Weakness:
Easy to do 80mph without blinking and get a ticket. Smooth, fast fast, powerful, torque to max, owned Fords for 30 years and this is best one yet. If this car was a woman it would be Corey Everson or Lucy (Xena) Lawless--good looking and strong. Similar Products Used: Best Ford ever. Had other used police cars before. |

Strength:
Everything especially engine and suspension
Weakness:
Dash plastic has a hard time with the Vegas Sun/heat Police, Taxis...say no more. This is itself a recommendation to the Vic''s staying power. I searched for one of these for months and bought a 5.0 powered 89..that was just another big ol'' car. Then I found my 4.6 powered 92 with 86000 mls. TOTALLY DIFFERENT. The 4.6 Kicks!! Apart from a sticking EGR valve at first the car is an absolute pleasure to drive AND with economy (22mpg on a run) Well Done Ford..just lets make sure the the Vic goes down as a classic in years to come!!!! Strength:
Body seems to be very durable. Quiet and smooth ride.
Weakness:
Weak antenna, can''t pick up radio stations. Not very impressive pickup. And a longer than expected time to take to start the engine. I am pretty much pleased with this car overall. The body is great, and interior is basic. But I think on the interior much more time and energy could''ve been applied. For example, knobs, switches, etc could be better quality and the mechanics of them could''ve been improved. Similar Products Used: Buick Park Avenue Ultra |

Great strong engine, smooth ride, good milage, very dependable, roomy
Weakness:
poor ball joints not servicable, no grease fittings recomend removal of control arms ( lower ) and having old ball joints pressed out and new ones with grease fittings installed, ( any machine shop can do this total approx cost 90.00 Super car for Drive-ability, comfort and looks at 6'' 2" plenty of head and leg room, great car except at 80,000 miles a lower front ball joint ripped loose going 70 mph, tire got wedged up in the wheel well luckily and stopped rather abruptly within 50 ft. No Damage except the ball popped out of the lower control arm, front left, wheel .the air bags did not deploy, noone was injured, skidded straight Similar Products Used: None |

Jim
Strength:
Room, inside and the trunk; dual exhaust, good take-off power, handling, very quiet V-8, quiet on the highway, eats up the highway without making you tired
Weakness:
leaky air coils which are very expensive to replace, small amount of oil burning through leaky valve stem seals, phantom computer light flashing, seats are short on the back of your legs they could be deeper The CV is a great car! Plenty of room, great highway ride, good power, and not too bad on gas. Best of all the car has 135,000 on it and has no clicking or other engine wear, still sounds new. New or used, a CV is a great car to buy, for any age group. Similar Products Used: compared to a Caprice, there is no comparison, the Ford is much better and feels like better quality |
