Strength:

The body design is great on the highway it breaks the wind and you don't hear the whistle that some cars make

Weakness:

Underpowered and a 4 speed automatic transmission would help improve fuel on the highway the brakes need vented rotors and the shocks need KYB white shocks installed for the best ride. When you do this it rides like a mercedes benz.Other wise the car is to soft and in emergency the car will flex and cause you to loose control at high speeds.IM a professional limousine driver with over millions of New York city conditon driving miles.

Needs more quality the ride is great if you install white KYB shocks and tires that bite the road.Underpowered for its size and fuel milage needs improvement.Needs vented rotors standard on front and rear with heavy duty calipers and rotors.Independent suspenstion would improve handleing and then you would have a great car.And last the seats I had to redue after 40,000 miles the padding went bad.Other than that a great car to own for the price.

What I don't understand is not having independent suspenstion when its been so successful for Mercedes and BMW for a few over 25 years.

Strength:

Comfortable ride. Lincoln 6 year/ 75K mile bumper to bumper warranty
for a used vehicle is exceptional.

Weakness:

Having extra coded keys made is expensive.

Having rolled a SUV doing about 75MPH, I wanted a vehicle that was a little more difficult to roll. Being an American, and a big Ford/Lincoln Mercury fan, I decided to purchase a slightly used 1999 Lincoln Town Car.

The Town Car has impressive power. The auto leveling feature is extremely nice when I use it to trailer my boat. It is a very comfortable vehicle that I feel very safe in.

I think that there is more cubic feet of cargo space in the trunk than my SUV had.

Similar Products Used:

Ford Crown Victoria. Very similar, with more toys.
