Strength:

I love the safety of it. It's like being in your favorite chair in your livingroom and driving. I would not trade it in for anothing but an updated model.

Weakness:

I do not think there's anything that I don't like about my car.

I paid 15.9K for the car and it was still under the warranty, which I loved. I recommend it to every and anyone that enjoys driving in comfort and safety.

I only has a 87 nissan sentra and it didn't hold a candle to the I30.

BEST DEAL FOR THE MONEY. GOURGES LOOKING CAR. SMOOTH AN QUIET RIDE. DOES 110 MPH WITH THE SAME QUIETNESS. SIDE AIRBAGS IS A BIG PLUS. LOVE AN AJUSTABLE HANDREST .
BOUGHT IT USED WITH 16K ON IT, SAVED FEW K I THINK. CHOOSING BETWEEN NEW FULLY LOADED MAXIMA AND THIS I30, HAD LITTLE DOUBT. MUCH BETTER LOOK ( THE REAR SIDE FOR SURE ) AND AN EXCELLENT WARRANTY.

Weakness:

EVEN WITH MORE HP ENGINE, STILL SLOWER THEN MY OLD MAXIMA 96. 0-60 IS AN 'EMBARRASSING' ZONE.
KNOBS FOR CLIMATE AND VOLUME CONTROLS LOOK TOO SIMILAR TO CONFUSE.
HOMELINK CONTROLS PLACED BY LEFTHANDED DESIGNER.( ON MY PATHFINDER THEY MOVED TO THE RIGHT SIDE)

GREAT CAR FOR PEOPLE WITH NO DESIRE FOR 'OFFENCIVE' DRIVING. EXCELLENT RELIABILITY PREDICTION.

Strength:

Solid car. plenty of power. lots of leg room, I'm over 6ft, and plenty of room for passengers in back seat. (unlike Audi A6, Lexus 300, and Acura TL. Dealers provide excellent service. Comfortable.

Weakness:

just a little thing , but I got used to two visors (one for side and one for front on my last two cars.) now its an annoyance having to flip from front to side to front. When you decide to use the headlights during the daytime, you then have to turn the illumination of dash all the way up seperately to see speedometer etc. (just an irritation)

I bought one with 3000 miles on it. and got 3 grand off of price of new.
(could have got $1500 of a new one, but probably not as much as $2000.

Strength:

Great power, luxury, comfort, great ride, easy on wallet. Great sound system.

Weakness:

Rear speakers need to be placed in rear dash instead of doors, looks too much like Mazda Millenia.

This is my second I30, previously leased 97 I30T,and 94 J30t. Very pleased with my new I30, from its stylish looks, to all of the extra features that are not found on more expensive cars. This car has a very smooth ride the reminds me of the J30T I had several years ago. I do not plan on driving anything other that the I30, unless they bring back the J30 Model. Great Automobile!!

Strength:

Excellent V6 Engine, I like the Sun Shade its used every day and blocks sun and headlights well. The Bose stereo has excellent sound and features.

Weakness:

Very few weaknesses. I would like the AC blower not to blow you away in the auto mode.

I would highly recommend this car it is very reliable. You get the red carpet treatment at routine maintenance stops. Its cheaper to operate than any of the more expensive luxury cars.

Strength:

Acceleration, Bose system, Looks, and quietness

Weakness:

Accelerates really quickly, but there is a dead zone from 45-65 mph.

I paid 27500 for my infiniti I30 limited. It had 3500 miles so it was like a new car. I test drove a es300 and was not impressed. I had a v6 camry and felt like it was the same car all over again. The service was horrible. I went there by myself. I am a 17 year old senior in high school so the salesman didnt take me seriously. I made up my mind to never buy a Lexus. I went to a acura dealer but had to wait about a week for it to be in stock. Other than good looks and honda engine, i wasnt sold on the acura either.
Then, i went to infiniti.
The first thing i saw when i visited the dealer were a couple of workers washing a customers car. I was delighted to see that. I told the dealer i was looking for a nice car to drive around. I thought he was going to offer me a cloth interior used g20. But he asked me really nicely what model i was interested in. I said an Infiniti I30. He quicly showed me the show room white i30 limited model. He even let me start the engine. I asked for a test drive and he said sure. He also said that it would make me a buyer. I laughed and was skeptical. I drove it and WOW! what a rush. This car boned out like crazy. 20 to 40 mph was a snap. He didnt really get mad that i accelerated fast and talked with me the whoe time. I came back about 3 days later with my parents and they drove it. They really liked the car and were trilled that it had side airbags. Well that all i have to say. I'll close with this. Even for the 2000 model. Own one and you'll understand, Infiniti lives up and more to that motto. BYE

Strength:

Easy to market. Easy to rip people off with this car.

Weakness:

I had a tire fail after 3600 miles. The dealer has tried twice to correct the alignment without success. Now they will not repair the car at all. The keyless ignition took 3 trips to the dealership to get it installed correctly.

I explained the difficulties I have had to the general manager of the dealership, and he openly mocked me. He said "I've listened to your sad little story. Now what do you want me to do, grovel for you?" Add a mocking tone to that line, and you'll understand. He also told me to sell my car (2 months old) and go back to Honda. He instructed me to never purchase an Infiniti again.

I called Consumer Affairs at Nissan headquarters, and they were sympathetic when I explained everything to them. They were very apologetic, and they promised to forward my complaint to the dealership, the people that berated me for being a customer.

Bottom line: no matter how much you like the test drive, you should not do business with this company. Unless you enjoy being screwed out of your hard-earned money.

Fast, fast, fast and very quite. It has a dead-on center feel and suffers little from torque steer. Superb stereo!!! Has lots of room everywhere. I love it!

Weakness:

Seats could be thicker (helps on long trips).

27,800 although the sticker was 29,500 and I was happy to pay it. I would totally recommend it to anyone who intends to keep a great car.

Similar Products Used:

95 Nissan Maxima GLE - Better because it is quite and does not have torque steer.

Strength:

This car is absolutely superb. One of the comments my wife has is that it was perfect off the dealer's lot. No warranty service has been necessary. No squeeks, rattles, everything works perfectly. The ride is excellent, and of course with the T package, it's a little stiffer than that without the touring package. Drove it 100 mph+ from abq. to tucumcari, and the car never shuttered, stammered, or coughed. WOW, what a ride!!! I wouldn't recommend driving this speed on a daily basis, but it was great. By the way, the tires were perfectly balanced. The steering wheel never shook once. drives great with a cross wind as well. air conditioning is good. Love that back shade. what a nice addition. Love the transmission, Love the engine and the power. One touch moon roof, both ways. one touch driver and front passenger windows. Neat!!! Whew!!! What a car. Don't forget, they have added cup holders in the back.

Weakness:

needs a lighted cruise control. come on guys, with a car like this, you shouldn't be reminded of this one. paid close to sticker since i bought if first out of the chute, and took a beating on my trade in. but my wife thinks it was worth it, so that's fine with me.

Would recommend this car to anyone. Would not recommend the touring model unless a stiffer ride doesn't bother you. Older models are nice as well, and would have bought one of those, but the wife likes the 2000 model, and she deserves the best!!
paid around $31,000. got $28,000 for my '96 Land Cruiser, book valued at much much higher. But that's this dealership. Oh well, we love the car, and that's what counts.

Lincoln LS, Lincoln Continental, Lincoln Town Car, Cadillac STS, SLS, Bonneville, Lexus. Thought this was the best value for the money. Cadillac STS is superb as well, but expensive on the lot, and depreciates fast.
