Strength:

Good looks, excellent handling, wonderful long distance cruising, decent mileage for a bigger engine, even around town. I have really enjoyed this car! HOpe to get another 50K out of it.

Weakness:

Interior trim around drivers window came loose early on and just hangs there unless I bang it back into place. (I never got it fixed!) Had to struggle to get someone to identify the real cause of an overheating problem -- the fan motor!! Finally fixed it...three times!! Other than regular maintenance, a couple of water pumps, belts, hoses, catalytic converter, and something called a throttle sensor(?), and that's pretty much it. Not bad for 150K miles. I keep expecting something to go wrong, but I think the synthetic oil has really kept that engine humming. Regular maintenance and fluid flushes are the key to a long life.

I bought this "pre-owned" car in 1993 from an excellent Cadillac dealership with about 38000 miles on it. I have been driving it ever since. It now has 184000 miles on it and is still going strong. Of course, it has had some things go wrong, but what car hasn't??
