Review 1 of 283

Price Paid:  $26000.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
2007 Honda/Odyssey

Summary:
I love my Honda Odyssey. It did take some convincing and checking all possibilities before I decided that it was the best vehicle for me and my family. I didn't want to become the "soccer mom". My kids love the vehicle and my friends are amazed when I open the door and show them all the features. I did go with the leather seats and sun roof. The ride is smooth and comfortable. For those who don't want the minivan image.... you are missing out.

Strengths:
Power everything, Roomy, and a really good looking minivan.

Weaknesses:
It unbelieveable that safety is everything and then there are no daytime running lights or automatic lights. I can't remember the last time I purchased a vehicle without this as a standard option.

Review 3 of 283

Price Paid:  $22000.00 from Pompano Honda

Year / Model Reviewed:
2006 honda odessey

Summary:
I'm confused by some of the bad gas mileage reports. After 18 months I get 17-18 in the city and 26 Hwy (thats driving 70-75). The worst gas mileage I've gotten on the Hwy was 24.

Strengths:
Great riding van, very comfortable too

Weaknesses:
Radiator shield is too low and can sometimes cause problems.

Similar Products Used:
Mazda MPV

Price Paid:  $37000.00 from Jackson Tn

Year / Model Reviewed:
2006 Honda Odyssey

Summary:
I have the 2007 Honda Odyssey and it is the worst vehicle I have ever owned..

1. You need to put a average person off of the street and ask them to work the radio. Try switching the XM radio to dvd playing with kids control in the rear and then play you music while your driving. Owned the vehicle three months and my wife still cant figure the thing out.

2. The vehicle has low front end. Wife always rubbing the bumper on curbs and driveways. All the other owners that we know say the same thing. I know the bumber will be pulled off..

3. If you are tall, gas gauge obstructed by steering wheel. Ask me, I ran out of gas !!!!!!!!!

4. Arm rests too short for a guy in the front seat.

5. Game control plug ins are next the third seat.. You will have your kids jumping over the seat to get to them while your driving..

6. GPS 50% of the time will take you the long way instead of the direct route.. It's hardly recognizes voice commands..

By far, the worst vehicle I have ever owned..

Prior vehicle ownership

Mercedes S500,E500 and SL

Review 5 of 283

Price Paid:  $28500.00 from huntington honda

Year / Model Reviewed:
2006 Odyssey exl

Summary:
lots of storage, great handling and acceleration(of a mini van).Comfortable controls with power seats.i have had gas mileage beyond what i expected, 18-20mpg around town,23-25mpg on highway going 70- 80 mph(cruz control a must to make the most of the cyl. deactivation, i bearly got 20mpg on a roadtrip not using cruz).i was very surprized with the mpg. i know the EPA estimated mpg on new cars is a joke and i believe there rating system will be revamped in the next year or two.

Strengths:
style, mpg, roomyness, tuckaway rear seat, drive train smoothness, shifter placement.

Weaknesses:
(nit picking)i like to rest my elbow on the door panal at the window and in this van that panel is hard plastic and by elbow gets sore on long rides would it kill the bottom cost-to-build line for honda to pad the upper door panel on a near $30000 van

Similar Products Used:
test drove nissan quest, thin padding on front seat.cheesy covers on the way too many sunroofs, bizzare center gauges.toyota seinna way to much body roll too soft of a ride
