Price Paid:  $90000.00 from China

Year / Model Reviewed:
2005 Jaguar S-Type 3.0 SE

Summary:
A car means something more than a car with 4 wheels. it expresses its owner's taste, value-orientation and even social class and status. Jaguar S-type is so eye-catching and British-feel, luxurious and elegant, but can reach 100km within 7.6 seconds, and it gives the owner everything he/she pursues. having a Jaguar S-type, what do u still need? nothing! cos u have got everything. why do u still comparing BMW530 or Audi A6 or M-Benz E280? just go for Jaguar!!

Strengths:
got everything that a luxury car should have, but means more than a luxury car.
love the leather and wood, so amazing!
Alpine hi-fi with 12 speakers, this perfect audio system in the TOP10 hi-fi list of all auto models by Forbes
good handling, 0-100km 7.6 seconds, feel so comfortable even a long drive
using less petrol than expectation, Approximately 11L/100KM, same as my Audi A6L 2400cc.
Good quality, no faults up to now, 6 mths already

Weaknesses:
No enough leg room at the back
The maintenance cost is even high than M-Benz s-class in China, Fxxk!
one of the two keys broke 2 times already, but has been fixed, annoying!
Expensive, it costs 90,000USD in China.

Review 3 of 58

Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 S-Type 4.2

Summary:
Despite the fact the earlier models had many problems a 4 time Jag owner recommended the 2003 S-Type. I had read that 2003 was a major rework on the S series and so far I am very happy. The 4.2 V8 is strong and the styling sticks out a little in a town full of Lexus, BMW and Mercedes.

Strengths:
Engine is a delight and interior styling is beautiful. Most confortable seat of any car the wife and I sat in.

Weaknesses:
Do not hold their value relative to BMW and Mercedes

Review 4 of 58

Price Paid:  $53000.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 Jaguar S-Type V8

Summary:
It's a stunningly beautiful car, that outclasses all rivals. A timeless elegant design that is as pleasurable to drive as it is to look at.

Strengths:
Sophisticated design both inside and out (2003 interior update). Loads of thick leather and beautiful real wood inside. Wonderful power with the V8, great handling. A plush, yet sporty feel to the car. The best combination of luxury and sportiness.

Weaknesses:
Initially, the 6 speed transmission shifted hard, but this was fixed by a software upgrade (recall) by Jaguar. Now it's silky smooth and responsive.
