Quailty Product. Fit right in with no drilling required. All the brackets and such fit fine. Includes polyurethane bushings right in the box.
Weakness:
Instructions need a lot of help. I also forgot to use the included grease on the bushings when I first installed them. Won''t do that again. I bought a set for my car when I was changing the shocks/springs. WOW! What an improvement. My car didn''t have a rear bar stock, so the improvement is even more dramatic. The installation was fairly painless, though I did have the help of an experienced Honda mechanic. My car corners like I neve dreamed it could. I now look at those signs with "suggested" speeds on interchanges and such and add on about 15 to 20 mph. Oh such fun!! Similar Products Used: The stock front one (*shudder*) |

Great Responsiveness!
Weakness:
Missing parts, some parts said to be there weren''t included!!!! I''ve just installed it today and there is a huge difference in handling.. You only have to make minor corrections and the car is sooo responsive! Only bad thing I have to say is that Suspension Techniques forgot to include some parts which made it impossible to install the rear bar (I''m going to contact them on this to see what will happen).. But with just the front sway bar on, driving my 1997 Honda Accord feels like driving my girlfriend''s 2000 Toyota Celica! It''s that good. I would recommend this product to anyone. Easy install, Fat bar 18mm compared to stock 12mm i think, i have just bought the rear one because the front was only 2mm bigger. Very beefy unit. Much flatter in corners, very smooth in sweepers, tendancy to 4 wheel drift as opposed too understeer.
Weakness:
Out side rear tires seem to be wearing...probly my fault, i can drive faster so i do, but sway bar adds pressure to outside rears. Stiffer on rough roads. I would definitly recommend this product, good service, easy to install took mabee 5minutes literally. Transforms your car for 120bucks you can't ask for more. Great workmanship strong and reliable service. Ease of installation.
Weakness:
Needs better instructions. Bigger and clearer diagrams. My car was a base EX when I started. Little sway bar in the front. When I was cornering even at low speed I felt like I was banking in a aircraft. I had lowered the car with a Eibach springs 1.8" drop. Then put in a set of 3 degree adjustable camber kits front and rear added 16" Konig Monsoons with 40 series Yokahma A520's. Then I added the Suspension techniques swaybars..Front and rear. These bars are monsters compared to stock. The term is awesome! Corners a are a new element all together. I owned a 93 RX7 TT Peter Farrel equipped and I must say that my Honda is very close to handling that I had in that car. Can't say much about the speed. Anyway once I had the bars in there the only left to do was to add the Koni shocks. Get Koni Specials! This adds the final touch and added stablity and control to the ride. Now I really do not have to have a high powered engine to go fast, but fast is control and control is what the swaybars with the mix of other parts listed gives you. Street or Autocrossing you have the power. Now my car feels less like a aircraft and more like an F1 racer. I recently raced a Z3 M roadster he was quick, but when it came to cornering I took him out. I often autocross in the Porche and BMW club. I am usually 2-3 seconds behind cars with triple the horse power. Yet, when I upgraded the tires to A520's I am now dead even. My rating on these get the bars and the poly suspension componets over all the suspension and engine bays. You will notice the difference in performance. Note! If you like comfort and you think comfort should be a plus don't upgrade your car to race specs. Racing is not about comfort it's about speed and control. Easy to install, precision fit, good bushings (urethane) included. Includes all necessary hardware. Cheap price to pay for such an awesome product
Weakness:
finish on bars could be a little better but you get what you pay for. Instructions were kinda difficult to follow At first, there was a decrease in ride comfort but that went away. I think it took some time for the urethane bushings to "break in" and get a little softer. Now the sway bars work wonderfully and the car can corner extremely well even tho i'm using small wheels. There was a lot of flex on my car over uneven surfaces but now the car is extrememly stable on the street and feels more "together" everytime i whip a turn. I think every car should get a front and rear one. It makes a tremendous difference in cornering power. BUt don't take my word for it, get a ST swaybar yourself! trust me, you wont be dissapointed! Thick, Strong Bar. Good bushings included
Weakness:
Instructions are like crap. I don't even know if i installed them in right. More detailed illustrations would be nice. I bought these anti-sway bars because they were on sale. The fronts were easy to install and the rears were slighty more tricky. Overall took me bout 3 hours to put in. However, the instructions were like written by a kindergarten and they are quite undetailed. Similar Products Used: stock. No comparison cuz the stock bars look like toothpicks compared to these beefy bars. |

The car can corner on a dime and turn like there's no tommorow
Weakness:
decrease in comfort. instuctions are confusing and also WRONG! First thing i should mention is that the installation of these bars is a piss off! the wheels can't be raised when you jack up the car or else the suspension will be misaligned and installation will be impossible. You could go to a mechanic with a lift or you could compromise like me. I finally figured out a clever way to install them with ordinary jacks. After driving around with the 2 new bars on my car, i noticed a 30% decrease in comfort but almost a 60 increase in cornering abilities. These bars will give you more performance than shocks, springs and mags put together! amazing. I figured that the comfort issue is due to the fact that the left and right of the car's suspension is connected with the sway bars. If i hit a bump on the right, the energy will transfer to the other side of the car causing more driver input of the road. It's a sacrifice for performance. I'm going to swap out my shocks for more softer ones so that the car will be more streetable. Another problem is that the bar hits my exhaust! Don't plan on buying these thinking everything will be fine and dandy cuz you'll have to do some modifications on your exhaust pipes for clearance. Similar Products Used: None. |

Strength:
My car does not come with a stock rear bar so this product made a huge difference in body roll. There is virtually no body roll, as compared to before where I was plowing right off the road when cornering hard.
Weakness:
The only problem I have experianced is that the bar hits my exhuast system in the rear. I am going to try and raise the height of my exhust by about half and inch and see if the contact goes away. The product is very inexpensive, compared to the usefullness of it. Biggest improvment to handling you can do on front wheel drive imports. No more excess body roll. It was also fairly easy to install, even using just normall shop tools. Put aside about two hours to be safe. You never know what you are going to run into. Similar Products Used: I have never used a product like this because I didn't have a stock sway bar on my car. |

Strength:
Incredibly flat in corners. A small investment for dramatic handing improvement.
Weakness:
The rear sway bar rubbed against the exhaust. I now have a squeaky, and possibly bent control arm that probably resulted from my shop banging the exhaust out of the way. Possibly the best, cheapest, and simplest suspension upgrade. My car now exhibits virtually no body roll, and even with stock springs and rims can outcorner my dad's A4 with the sport suspension package. Don't expect across the board improvements in ride, because thats not what sway bars do. They simply decrease body roll. But, oh, what a job these do!!!
