*Nicely lowers your ride. (no like some ohter once that lowers your car so much the tires are burry inside the fender). *Smooth your ride a lot *Better cornering
Weakness:
Don''t think you can hit a thing when you corner...still take it with care if you love your car I just got the kit a 3 days ago, and I only drove the car once after I got it (about 40 miles from the shop to home)...all I gotta say is... DAMN IT''S NICE!!!! It made my ride so smooth and when I shift and break I can''t feel the car rocking back and furth no more...The guy 2 the shop cut me a very nice deal on the kit plus rims and ruber... great quality, great name, great handiling. These springs are worth every cent.
Weakness:
I would recomend getting struts at the same time. I could not afford it right away so my impatience made me lower it with stock struts. I plan on buying koni yellows. The stock strut is way to soft for these stiff ass springs. you get that lowered car bounce, not bad though. Buy the struts and your car will be 100 times better than stock. I must say these springs make your car handle like a dream. Took 3.5 hours to install. It lowered my car just right looks sweet but can still drive punched. I was surprised how 1.5 inches lookes slammed. Any lower would be too much. Car turns faster and completes the turn like a sports car. On ramps are a blast. Similar Products Used: stock |

Great Ride!!!Very Smooth!!
Weakness:
Sits a bit higher than Im used to and looks like its lower in the back end so I had to bump up tire size to level it out. The springs are great...cant beat the ride...I''ve had coil-overs,aerospeed race springs, neospeed race springs, and even air ride and these springs dominate them all.All though the only thing I dont like about them is just like the guy with the eclipse said right before me they lowered quite a bit more in the rear than the front still have a large wheel gap but that could just be because Im not used to it being so high.(Last set of suspension was coil overs lowered at 4")The pro kit only lowered it 1.25" in front and close to 1.75" in the rear. Greatly improves handling, ride quality is dencent.
Weakness:
drop is not always the same and lowers too much in the rear of the car.. Overall the springs are great.. handle great and ride is smooth. my only concern was that when getting the prokits they state that the drop is not all that much.. yet the rear ends up dropping way more than suspected.. not only would i need a camber kit, but even the possible fender roll looked like it may be needed.. beware that if you get these springs that you may end up needing a rear camber kit. The Z28 handles great! It''''s responsive, the brake dive is gone, the car looks great and the ride is still pretty good for a performance car.
Weakness:
If you value a "Cadillac Smooth" ride, I would not put any lowering spring on your car. That is not a weakness of my Eibach springs, just a concernt that some people may have for ride quality. I''''ve used the Eibach Pro Kit Springs on my 1993 Camaro Z28, with Bilstein shocks, for 4 years. I run the car on the street, drag strip and autocross race courses. handling, quality and more handling
Weakness:
none This is by far the best set of springs you can buy. Dont mess with sprint or intrax or any other company. Eibach makes the best springs around. on my car they dropped it about 1.1 inches. The drop fits well with low profile tires and 17 or 18''s. The front drop could be a little lower, but im not going to complain. The single biggest asset to these springs is the ride quality. Most springs at best give you as good as stock ride, if not worse. These springs make stock handling look like a joke. The handling is great with these springs, i highly recommend them. Lowers nicely (1.3inches) with out scraping the ground or rubbing fender walls. Does not hop when a bump is hit. Does not require camber adjustment kit.
Weakness:
Have not experienced any at this time. I have combined the Tokico Illumina 5 way adjustable shocks with the Eiback Pro Kit lowering springs. The mechanic that installed them adjusted the shocks to the stiffest setting (5). It was awesome for about 2 days until I realized the source of my intense lower back pain. The subtleness of the 1.5inch lowering makes the car look stock without scraping the ground. I am still able to get up my steep driveway with the shock/spring combo. Due to the intense back pain (I use the NJ Parkway on a regular basis for those of you that know the condition of that road) - I reduced the setting on the shocks to a 1.5 setting. I am completely happy with them now. The car doesn''t bounce over bumps and potholes like it would with cut springs and I can take most corners about 5-10mph faster with the added stiffness. Excellent ride hight for Integra. Agressive look and performs as promised.
Weakness:
Despite what I was told by many people a front camber-correction kit ($140) was required when I had my alignment done. Speedbumps are a true nuisance, and potholes are plain dangerous. I sincerely enjoy my new Eibach springs. When I bought my springs I also bought new shocks (Koni Sport yellow). I love the way the car handles corners, or even at standstill it gives the car an aggressive look and a perfect ride hight. I was debating on going with the sportline but I opted for the pro-kit. On my Integra the pro-kit is perfect. I still have to modify the rear well fender lip. It needs to be pushed up, the reason my car is like this is because of wider aftermarket rims/tires. It is a simple procedure to do it is outlined at: http://integra.vtec.net/wheels/rollfender.html Anyhow it is a wonderful product and I highly recommend it. Similar Products Used: N/A |

nice even drop. 2" off a pro-kit. great compromise of performance and comfort. a very controlled feel.
Weakness:
another .5" drop would have been perfect. sportline not available for me. friend recommended the pro-kit. went and bought maxspeed coilovers. dealt with harsh ride, constant scraping, strut tower noise, etc (the rear never even dropped more than .75"). went and bought eibach. night and day. comfortable yet sporty. low enough to perform yet not shred my ground effects. don''''t waste time and $ like i did. go eibach first. Similar Products Used: maxspeed coilovers. do yourself a favour. avoid these. if you have that much cash burning a hole in your pocket, take your girl out somewhere nice... but get the pro-kit first. she''''ll understand. |

Improved look, handeling, and performance
Weakness:
I ocassionally rub the backtires & fenders on big bumps on the highway. I gotta get shaved. I love the look of my car now. I''ve got 16x7 rims & low profile tires with the Eibach Sportline kit I''ve got a very agressive look. Much improved handeling and stability, braking is a huge improvement...no nosedives when I slam on the brakes. Similar Products Used: Arospeed coilovers...they were junk. |
