Strength:

I really like the ease of ajustability of the front struts. The car handles a TON better now.

Weakness:

Dislike the rear adjust - has to be unbolted to re-adjust the sensativity on the Mustangs.

Got my complete front and rear set for $409 to my door. I would recommend these. I would do it again.

These are the only High performance shocks I've owned. I have the Red's. The are not too harsh for daily driving, but enough for the serious autocross event.

Model Reviewed: 99 Honda Prelude Type SH

Strength:

The adjustability is very nice, although rear damper adjustments are difficult since the rear suspension is covered up by the trunk liner material. Works well with my Eibach Prokit springs. Does help control bottoming out much better than stock dampers.

Weakness:

I do notice a more controlled suspension stroke, altho I can't say that they are a marked improvement over the stock dampers.

Decent damper set. For someone who's looking for reasonably priced dampers to go along with their aftermarket springs, this is a hot set up. I will eventually swap out my Koni's and Eibach springs for a Tein coilover set up.

Strength:

Wide range of adjustment, Koni quality

Weakness:

*Choke* Price of admission *Choke*

Don't let the price scare you yet; these were inserts that had to be custom-installed into stock strut housings for this application. They are much stiffer than stock, and bump and rebound adjustability is nice. I needed a high-quality shock to go with my H&Rs for track use, so I had little choice.

Model Reviewed: 1997 Honda Civic EX

Strength:

-Damper adjustable
-Height adjustable
-Rebuildable
-Limited lifetime warranty
-Solid reputation
-Great performance ... does what they're supposed to

Weakness:

-The instructions flat-out suck
-There's no number or notches to let you know how much you've adjusted the shocks
-You have to remove the trunk liner in my car to adjust the rear struts

These are the first aftermarket shocks I've ever used on my car, and I think they're great. The ride is a little rough, but the way it makes my car handle is amazing. Mated to my 2.5" lowering springs and Neuspeed upper front strut tower bar, the turn-in is fast, stable, and roll is almost none. I've heard nothing but good things about Koni Sports which is why I decided they were the right choice for me. I love how they're adjustable not only in dampening but ride height, too. I highly recommend these to anyone.

Stock ... can't compare and doesn't.
