This tire is purported to be good in the rain. I don't drive my car in the rain, so I cannot say whether this claim is true. The cost of the tire is low in comparison to its competitors.

This tire is so noisy that it is distracting from my driving enjoyment. The tread noise is worse than a cheap snow tire. The steering feels a little dead-on-center, which is very noticeable on my Porsche 944 Turbo. The tire carcass takes a definite set when the car is parked for a few days, resulting in a rough ride for the first few miles while the tires are coming up to temperature and becoming round again.

This tire is definitely not a replacement for the Yokohama A008 RS tires which I have had several sets of. It is a real disappointment. I have complained to the Yokohama High Performance Tire Specialist (who initially recommended that I use the A-032) and all I have is his apology, and a set of virtually new tires that I hate to drive on. Yokohama says that a real replacement for the A-008 RS will not be coming soon.
