Strength:

Long life

Weakness:

They last longer then your ear drums. Loudest tires I have ever had. Terrible and they get worse~~! Do not buy them!

I am changing tires even though these are not even half worn. They make so much running noise, you'd sware your wheel bearings have gone bad.

Strength:

Very smooth, excellent traction, great in wet driving conditions

Weakness:

some noise

I have had these tires for about 7 months. I bought rims for my car so I thought I would get new tires. I had a set of performance tires and these tires are nuch better, The ride of my car is much smooother and steering is very responsive. These tires have really enhanced my driving experience. I have an HHR that that takes the same size tire as my G6 and will be putting these tires on my HHR. Great tire for the money.

LOUD

I purchased these in July 2010 and currently have 46,600 miles on them and am down to 3/32 thread left. They won't make to to the 80,000 mile thread life. We'll see if Walmart will give me any credit because they didn't make it to anywhere near the 80,000 miles.

Strength:

I put these on my car in April of 2008, and only now (October 2011) am I having to replace them. And I'm not a light driver -- I make frequent road trips, incluing a tour of New England, a drive from Pennsylvania to western Michegan and back, etc. I'm either going with these again, or getting a comparable tire. They also hold air very well -- almost never needed a top off.

Weakness:

I got very poor traction getting up out of a steep driveway in the winter.

Great product for the money.

They do apparently last forever. These appear to be 5 year old tires, with about 65,000 miles on them, and the rear set still looks new. they are weather cracked from age, but still have lots of tread, and the front set even still passes inspection.

Weakness:

LOUD!!! These tires make me INSANE. Though they are good for at least another year, I'm buying a new set of 4 just to get rid of the noise. I was convinced that either my rotors were grinding or my wheel bearings were going out. It took two seperate mechanic's opinions to convince me that it was just tire roar. the noise actually got worse after I rotated the "better" set to the front of the car.

Cheap is NOT better. These are not a "true" Uniroyal tire anyway. they are manufactured elsewhere, then labeled as uniroyal for sale by uniroyal as a cheap long lasting "entry level" tire. they are sold only at walmart as far as I know.

I sell and install shop equipment, including tire machines and balancers, so i have loads of tire knowledge and experience with multiple brands and styles of tires.

Stay away from these tires unless you want to drive around with your radio blasting, turned all the way up just to avoid the noise.

Weakness:

VERY NOISEY TIRE !!!

Purchased a set of 4 in Feb 2008 after the OEM Goodyear RS-As wore out at 22000 miles on my 2007 Toyota Matrix. I was in heaven due to the low price ($100 each installed !!) and great traction (in snow, rain and dry) and handling. Will take corners and expressway offramps without a squeal. Now, 38000 miles later, they still have 4/32nds left, but are very scary at all times, even dry roads. And OHG !! Have NEVER had a tire that was so noisey, thought I had wheel bearings going bad at all 4 positions. Only noticed this in the last 10000 miles. Just put on 4 new Coopers and I can actually hear a pin drop, thank God !!! Only had 1 puncture in these tires and it was in the last 1000 miles, I plugged it, but 2 of these tires I had to put sealant in the tires because they had a slow leak that I could not find, the sealant worked great, but sucks I had to do that in the first place since I had never scraped a curb or anything.
In all, the price is not worth the headaches the noise from these tires will give you everytime you drive, unless you only plan on getting 30000 miles out of them.

Weakness:

Extreem road noise, especially at 55-60mph, so loud that I can't hear the engine og my car. I thought I had a wheel bearing going out until I took it to a mechanic and had him drive it. I had no idea tires could be that loud! I've got 20,000 miles on them and the noise got worse when I had them rotated.

Worst tire I have ever put on my car.

Strength:

Weakness:

Unreliable

In 3 years use, I've had to replace 3 of the 4 tires, because of tread / belt separation. Tires also have constant roar / road noise. You're lucky if you get 40,000 miles before the tread / belts separate, and tire must be replaced. Useful life is about 40,000 miles, not the 80,000 miles advertised. Avoid!

Quiet, Smooth, Affordable, 80,000 mile treadwear warranty.

Weakness:

Haven't found any weaknesses yet.

Well, I've only had the tires on my car for a couple of weeks so I can't vouch for their durability. I will say that they ride very quietly and smoothly. As for traction, they are rated "B" so I won't be taking any freeway exits at 60 mph. Previously I had Michelin Symmetry's on the car. I can't say that the traction with the Uniroyals is any better or worse than the Michelins. But the Uniroyals are priced about 40% less than the Michelins.
