Strength:
Hold air.
Weakness:
Very hard ride. Had front end and shocks checked but was told that the tires were the problem. These tires came on the vehicle that I purchased a couple weeks ago. I was told by the seller that the hard ride was because the tires were filled with nitrogen. My mechanic checked the vehicle and said that the tires are crap. They're almost brand new but are cupping already.

Strength:
Great traction wet or dry.
Weakness:
Loudest tires I've ever heard. Louder that the Toyos I had on my 4X4 pickup. Stiff ride. Bought these cheap as "pull offs" from craigslist. These are so noisy, I can understand why they were taken off. Hopefully they will last at least 6 months until I can replace them with something quieter and smoother. Similar Products Used: Michellin, Firestone, Kuhmo. |

last long, and NO NOISE!!!
Weakness:
none i really cant understand why do people complain so much about these tires, ive had them on my car for a year and some change on my car and they are not noisy at all, i changed them over to kumho tires because of wear issues but these tires had better traction on bad weather than my new tires and they lasted longer than the new tires, i am about to order a new set of the toyo spectrums in a few and i strongy recomend them |

Chinese made,noise,2 blowouts at less than 17000 miles I bought a new set of Toyo Spectrum tires for my 2003 Honda Odyssey. On Thanksgiving Day 2008 the left front tire blew out. We did not hit anything. Then on Christmas Day 2008(one month later) the right front blew out. Neither time was there anything(nail) in the tire. I'm a 52 year old car-guy and I'm positive the tires were inflated properly. The Toyo's were installed 3-15-07 and had less than 17000 miles on them.At about 12000 they became quite noisy. When I looked closely at the sidewall,it read MADE IN CHINA. I think I got a set of defective tires? What is my next step? Replaced all four with BF GOODRICH TRACTION TA for 110 a tire including tax, balance, "stem" and disposal.Pretty good! Similar Products Used: none |

last, good traction in rain and snow, quiet
Weakness:
none This is my 3rd set of Toyo Spectrums. They seem to last forever when rotated. They are pretty quiet, even on the highway. Can not figure out why people think they are noisy. Would buy again. |
