Strength:
Yes, my car has the sports suspension which, I have to agree that it can be rather harsh. This probably explains why the rear suspension bushes had to be replaced as well being used as a hire car (see comment above). suspension repair Weakness:

Dry wet traction

wear and noisy I too went afetr this tread pattern and 6 yr 90000 mile warranty. Dont waste you money. These tires started to wear out in 45000 miles. Very noisy. Made my Camry sound like a four wheel drive truck. Buy harmony or equal. |

Strength:
good handling, quite ride
Weakness:
Treadlife way too short! After all the ads I saw for these tires, I paid extra to buy these Michelins. I only got 34,000 total tread life, not the 90K they say you can expect. I also got uneven wear even though I did regular alignments. I can't recommend these because of the short life they have. |

Quiet, smoothest riding tires I've ever owned. I've got 5 years wear (over 120,000 kms) and still got good tread left. I've hit torrential downpours at freeway speeds and never lost control. Totally amazing grip.
Weakness:
Although there is still enough tread for safe driving (according to my tread depth gauge) they seemed to lose their traction abruptly once the tread got down so low. I find that they just don't grab the road like they used to so I will be buying another set this spring. Best summer tires I've ever owned, and I used to drive 100,000 kms (60,000 miles) per year so I've gone through lots of tires in my day. Strength:
excellent on wet or dry
Weakness:
not very good on wet snow I am impressed by their grip and comfort in dry or wet conditions, but I don't recommend them for driving in snow. For the winter you should get some winter tires. I don't find them noisy. The tread could last longer. |

Initially very smooth ride, quiet and good traction.
Weakness:
VERY POOR TREAD LIFE. OVERPRICED!!!!!
I bought a set of Michelin Hydroedge tires before going on a long road trip with my family. I spent extra to get tires that came highly recommended by the salesman as "the best." Initially, the ride was smooth as glass and very quiet with good handling. Despite proper maintainance with regular tire rotation, allignment and pressure checks - the tires lost most tread by 30000 miles. I've been riding on nearly bald tires for the last two months until I can get the money for a good set from a different company. |
