Strength:

Look great on Krager rims. Can't beat the price.

Weakness:

Not known yet.

Sounds like Jeff has more problems than just his tires. I just purchased 2 of the tires for my 79 Firebird. I'll post a review after a race or two. I just hope there close to what I'm use to. But who can complain for under $100 a piece.

Strength:

Tight traction, decent wear

Weakness:

Sizes seem to be slightly larger than most tires with the same dimensions(about half an inch taller diameter). Not quite the traction of BFGoodrich, but less expensive on average.

Good all around wearing tire. Compared to the Discoverer H/T's that were on the truck, this one is quieter, and much better traction dry, wet or snow. Put the tires on in the fall, and had much better traction, even through a heavy snowstorm.

Strength:

Smooth, quiet and comfortable ride. Little or no vibration. Straight as an arrow. Great wet traction.

Weakness:

Soft, mushy response. Dry traction leaves more to be desired. Contributes to more body roll, less desirable performance characteristics.

Great wet traction, smooth, quiet ride at any speed. They feel quite a bit softer and more mushy than my Falkens, with a little more body roll, too. I'm used to a harder, more responsive tire. Great for everyday commute, but poor on performance.

These tires have never been a problem for me. They have kept great traction, especially in the mountains around Georgia and North Carolina. I use them on a 97 Mustang.

Strength:

Good looks, good traction wet or dry. Quiet tire!

Weakness:

None that I can really say. No negatives. Wear like iron!!

I don''t know why some of you are whining about the Cooper Cobra GTs. They beat the hell out of the Goodrich Tourin TA''s that came with the car. Those things hydroplaned like crazy! The Coopers are quite- at least on my Grand Am they are. Maybe you guys have noisey cars, huh? I live in Minneosta and this little guy flies through the snow. I have about 50K on these and the fronts are just getting to where I should probably replace them in another 10K. They handle great! Car sticks like glue to the road!! All in all, one of the best performance tires out there for the money! My Grand Am will kick your Accord any day! Wanna drag??

Strength:

Handeling and wet weather traction

Weakness:

a little unstable at high speeds

At high speeds, the Cooper tires don't seem as stable as the Dunlop D60A2 tires. The do seem to be able to handle fast turns as well as the Dunlops though. They are much better than the Firestone's the car came with. Wet weather traction is very good. The center section of the Dunlops wears out very fast and they began to hydroplane easily. I only have about 4k miles on them, so I don't know how well the treads will wear. This is the first set of cooper tires I have owned, but I will be buying them again.

Strength:

For a performance tyre? HAH! Maybe semi-desent wet weather traction.

Weakness:

Wears easily, loud peelouts, crappy handleing (understeer) no traction on anything but 100% dry/clean pavement.

Basicly i race w/ my MX6 Turbo, and they just dont hold up, to much spinning, not very much control under hard cornering. Full accel reveils lots of tyre slippage.

Strength:

great handeling, sticks like glue on curves, excellent mileage and not to noisy. If you want a tire that sticks on curvy roads for a sport sedan this is a tire for you

Weakness:

None

This is the second set of coopers. The first was on a car I no lomger own. They were a new replacement. When I traded the car off they had 52k miles on them and they still looked like they had another 10k left on them. I never had any flats, which is saying something because I live on a dirt road. the second set is still on the car I have now and they are still going strong. The handeling is also excelent, I can hang the car around 45 mph curves @ way more than the recomended speed of the curve, and as far as I'm concerened they handle just as well in the rain as on dry pavement
