Strength:
Mediocre dry traction at best, they do look good, and had better traction and a stiffer sidwall than the Goodyear Eagles that they replaced.
Weakness:
Over all poor traction, quick wear, and they have the tendancy to shed a lot of rubber at the track. I know that the Falken tires are good, and will be purchasing a set to replace these. I would not reccomend these tires to somebody looking for an inexpensive performance tire. I keep all of my tires properly inflated and I drive moderately, and the tires have worn out in approx 20k. I am very dissapointed with both the dry, and the wet traction, and their tendancy to be unstable on gravel roads. At the Drag strip they shed a lot of rubber, and I've had to scrape rubber off of the inner fenderwells and the sides of the car. Looks. 255/70r15(rear), 225/60r15(front) these tires look great on my car.
Weakness:
Traction is very poor even on dry pavement. Based on looks alone, these tires would get five stars. Judging by the amount of rubber that ends up on my paint, I am afraid these tires will not last long. Similar Products Used: Bridgestone potenza, BFG Radial T/A, Potenza's are a useless tire. Strength:
Looks only. Was told that tires were rated excellent for wet and snow conditions. Sorry folks, not a chance.
Weakness:
I am a consevative driver and after 2 months (2300 miles) of use the tires would not hold traction in the rain. After 7 months the tires held no traction at all in some light, dry snow. Would not recommend these tires for any condition. Tires are mounted on a Toyota Camry, 6 cyl. quality of car handling diminished within the first two-three months. Tires were rated for foul weather (rain & some snow) traction. If I were to guess, it dosn't appear that the tires were tested on the various road conditions that the average consumer encounters. Similar Products Used: When purchased I was considering various rain tires. Now considering competative brands. |

Poor tires. One day I go to get into my truck and my tire on the driver side is flat on the ground. I inflate the tire and take to my local Firetone store and they couldn't find any thing wrong with it. I take it to a service station and they find a big gash in between the grooves of the tire. One month later my husband and (four year old son) are riding down I-95 wondering why people are looking at the truck. He is driving 70 mph on a flat tire, he felt nothing. They were lucky to not have been in an accident or even killed. $55.00, would not recommend these tires to anyone. Similar Products Used: Michelin very good tire |

Cheap tires. A little wider than the stock tire
Weakness:
Cheap tire I've had these on my car for 3 years and they work. Not great, but better than the stock tire. If you need a cheap tire to put on your car before you sell it, these are the tires for you. I can't say much about the wet weather performance, it doesn't rain much in San Diego, and I ride my motorcycle more than I drive the car. Similar Products Used: Goodyear |

nothing I paid about 225.00-250.00 for two at a military store so they might cost a little more. Yes I would recommend the Firestone Firehawk SS10. Similar Products Used: Kelly road hugger. This tire was also good they lasted about 4 years they are a little more expensive but Kelly backs them up. |

Looks OK
Weakness:
Mediocre performance Sure, they were reasonably cheap, but the day after I took the Michelin Alpin snows off and hit a rainstorm with the SS10s, I knew I'd made a bad purchase. Lots of hydroplaning, even at moderate speed and proper inflation. In town, I get lots of wheelspin on wet pavement. Similar Products Used: None |

well considering i'm doing about 65 mph on interstate 35, all of a sudden my truck starts bouncing like my wheel was about to fall off, i quickly pulled over to the side of the road just to see my tire looked like a hot air balloon. i quickly jacked my truck, when my tire decided to blow. there is about an 8 inch cut, on the side of the tire, the tread had seperated from tire., what a fluk, right. fortunately the military store where i bought 4tires from, where out of stock, and had to order a new one. then to my surprise i saw on the news station that there has been a problem with firehawk tires. the same problem to be exact, but i guess the lord was watching over me, because the other's were killed, now will there be a recall on these tires, because i don't feel comfortable about driving with one spare and three firehawk tires, that could do the same.what really got to me is that when i purchased the tires, i aslo purchased the warranty package that said lifetime warrantee, guess what, not so. i am waiting to hear more about the lawsuit, and find out what your company will do for me. i mean i paid $40.00 for this warranty ($9.95 per tire)and all i get is a tire rotation. overall it looks great on my truck though. thank you for your time. sgt smith usa $57.00, if there was assurance that this was not to happen again, but this has happened to many times.
