Strength:

Grippy. Hot looking.

Weakness:

Noise.

These tires came on volk racing Gram Light wheels- hence the 1300 price tag. If I only had two word to describe them, they would be "holy cow". Wow, what a difference from stock tires. Grippy, grippy, and grippy. Even in light snow they do well. They are loud for a tire, but I haven't a lot of experience with preformance tires, it may be normal. Also, either I'm very lucky or just blessed. I drove about 100 miles on a tire that had only 5 lbs of pressure in it- and didn't ruin the tire. It was the first time I had diven my car with these super low profile tires, and the suspension made up for the flat tire, so I didn't even feel it until I got out at the gas station and looked at it. Good quality construction, or luck? Plus, the tread looks cool.

Strength:

Great handling, Good wet traction, Good response, looks

Weakness:

NOISEY!!!, Very Harsh Ride

These tires grip very well in dry and wet conditions. Great to hit turns and corners at high speed. Give great response and feedback too. The only major problem I had with these tires was the NOISE they made and HARSH RIDE they gave my car. I even dynamatted the whole bottom part of my car and the noise generated by these tires got through. Got so noisy some times that I felt as if I was going to lose my hearing. Replaced them KUMHO Ecsta 712s which were much quieter and smoother.

KUMHO Ecsta 712..A much smoother and quieter tire with moderate to good handling. I was willing to sacrifice a little loss in handling in order to not lose my hearing and regain a smoother ride.

-17" Z-rated tire that is inexpensive and still performs well
-good treadwear

Weakness:

-somewhat loud

The Dunlop W10s came on my wheels when I bought them. Overall, great tire for the price. Handles pretty good in dry conditions and decent on wet conditions. Good treadwear.

I've recently replaced them with the Kumho Ecstas 712 Supras which is a much better tire and cheaper.

Strength:

Good grip for the price. I haven't heard a sqeek yet during a turn...and I'm taking them hard. As for the wear, its still too early to tell.

Weakness:

Grip can be improved...during launches.

You can't get much cheaper than these without losing performance. I'd definately buy these again.

Strength:

Awesome grip, very soft rubber so very little road noise. Great in the rain, never had them slip. The big tread blocks look more like high performance tires than other tires in same category.

Weakness:

Not all season so I have to run on crappy factory tires during winter.

Definitely a great bang for the buck. Good performance at a good price =Þ

Similar Products Used:

Not similar but my factory goodyear econo whatever tires sucked, if you spit on the road i'd lose traction. (part of my reason for loving these tires)

Great handling characteristics, good wet driving, good sidewall construction

Weakness:

Wore out in 15000 miles

Cheap tire (215/40 17) and good handling but did not last even a year, but I am also hard on my tires taking corners between 90 and 100 daily because I live on a remote highway. Hit a couple of curbs and never dented a wheel.

Strength:

Very responisive with these new tires compared to the bridgestone re-92. great performance for price. excellent dry traction. have a unique tread design.

Weakness:

Tires are too soft. I drive hard I warped my bridgestones in 18K. Warped these sport W-10's in 10K. AGAIN I DRIVE VERY HARD ON MY TIRES. You will definetely get more life out of tires.

I paid 450 installed for 205/50/16 there odd size so that why I paid so much. I would recommend the tire I think they are great for what you get however I think Summitmo's, aka really another name for Dunlop's just no one knows it, are eve better because they are in essence the same tires just renamed and that right with a much smaller price tag.
If I rate just performace it would go Michelin, Dunlop and summitmo , yoko , then bridgestone .
If I rate performance including price I would go summitmo, yoko and dunlop, michelin then bridgestone.
In the end I would say I recommend these tires

Love the michelins V rated and above just too expensive. Bridgestones are good for cruising they are much harder compund then the W-10's but they can last you a while. I think these and the Yokohama rated best for me comparing price and performance probably leaning toward yokohama's though

Strength:

Cost, Look, Ride, Handling, Wet Driving

Weakness:

Maybe could do with a little more dry grip

I love these tires. Break away is predictable, they aren't loud and, compared to the competition, they're cheap. Driving in the rain? These are the tires for you! Nice in the dry. Other tire have a little more grip at the limit, so maybe not the best racing tire. For daily running around Brooklyn and Manhattan, and drives out to Long Island and Philly, they are fabulous.

Strength:

Cheap Price, Good looks, and Decent performance

Weakness:

Dry grip could be better for hard driving, they seem to wear quickly when driven hard.

In the dry although handling isn't a 10 there consistent when pushed passed there limits. In the wet they seem to be very very stable even at too high of speeds for safe driving. So far they seemed to wear down a bit quicker then I thought considering how deep the treads are but I haven't been easy on them at all. I think there a great tire for the money.

Similar Products Used:

Bridgestone RE92's Night and Day between the stock tires on my 99 Prelude and these Dunlops. I'm sure there are better but these fair very well.

Great looking tires!
Amazing performance

Weakness:

None

I replaced the Energy MXV4 Plus that came with the car (205/60/VR16) with a set of Sport W-10 (215/55/VR16). They cost about the same (~$100/tire) as the MXV4's but the performance improvement is night and day. The MXV4 simply werent good enough for the powerful engine of the Accord V6 and the W-10's made up for the deficiency without costing me an arm and a leg. These tires look so good they can be mistaken for a tire that costs 3 times as much :)

Similar Products Used:

Michelin Energy MXV4 Plus.
W-10's are far more superior, except in noise level. W-10 is slightly noisier for that it hums at about 50 m/h then goes away as you accelerate beyond 60 m/h.
