Strength:
Decent braking in most conditions Weakness:
I live in Florida where 90% of the roads are pretty smooth, but these tires ride a bit rough. I have 21k on my Honda Odyssey and I religiously rotate every 5k and I have nitrogen filled tires which are supposed to give you a smoother ride. Judging by the tread I will have to replace by 30k very dissapointing from now on when I lease or finance a new vehicle I will not accept continental tires unless dealer gives me something else; there are much better options out there for around the same cost which can give you longer treadwear. I would hope that everybody do the same so these tire companies start giving us better products. Price Paid: 36k

seam to handle ok
Weakness:
very fragile tires, bubble is popping out on one tire dealer says it was road hazzard no warranty. The tire was not hit and the sidewall is breaking apert. Continental should be liable for any safety concerns this poorly made tire has.
****DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON CONTINENTAL TIRES***** Poorly made and they do not stand behind them. My other cars have Michelins and BF goodrich and Goodyear tires and I have never had these issues. Someone will get badly hurt using Continentals. |

Strength:
Contiprocontact gave nice, soft ride for quite a while.
Weakness:
Had Nissan serviced every 3000 miles and tires serviced as recommended. Unfortunately, at 19,000 miles checkup (Versa was 16 months old) the Continentals had to be replaced. Warrently was no good. Very disappointed because we are not aggressive in our driving habits and just had to buy new tires this morning after only 19,000 on Versa Hatchback...felt like we got robbed. Service manager could not believe condition of tires in such a short time. Bought new Cooper Touring tires and hopefully things go better this time. |

Weakness:
Bubbles on all 4 tires. Tires have only 12,000 miles on them. Front tires have bubbles the size of baseball on the side. The back ones have bubbles the size of golf balls on the sides. Very noisey and unsafe. Very disappointed with tires. I will not recommend or buy this brand again. You would think they would do something about this considering the price you pay for these tires. I guess that is why they say LIVE AND LEARN.. I would avoid the 235/45r/17 tires from continentel. Similar Products Used: Bought 4 new Falken tires. They were not as expensive and i am very pleased with them. |

Weakness:
bubbles on tires within 3 months of buying car that audi approved since i bought a cpo car. bought a used audi from a dealer. within 3 months the front and back tire on the drivers side had bibbles and i had to replace them. Not satisfied at all with durability of the tires. Have been driving for almost 40 years and never had bubbled tires before. |

Strength:
Quite and handle well.
Weakness:
Front tires cannot survive any size of pot hole. A bubble has formed on the left front tire under 3 yr; bubble on right front tire was replaced under 2 yr. After 30+ years of driving in same city, I have not had to replace tires for this reason. And the pot hole were small in both cases. |

Strength:
Hold the car up.
Weakness:
Steel belts are popping out on both front tires at less than 10,000 miles. My dealer and the manufacturer offered a 25% discount off retail to replace--I guess even the Nissan dealer & Continental must think these tires only last 12,000 miles at best. I don't know who I am madder at: Empire Nissan or Continental!!! Do NOT buy Continental tires, even included on a new car. Similar Products Used: Goodyear--great tires with no problems. |

Mercedes Continental tires
Strength:
None - these Continental tires are as bad as they get (Conti ProContact).
Weakness:
Poor quality; not a smooth ride; tend to over inflate in higher temperatures I would give anything to have Michelin tires. I have 10,100 miles on my new car and I have had to replace two tires. The first went flat for no apparent reason (no nail or other item was found in the tire) and the second one split in the sidewall. I am certain these tires would NOT be legal in Germany and for the first time with a Mercedes, I worry about the safety of the tires. At $400 per tire, these should be higher quality. And the warranty -- quite a joke - it is worthless. I hope Continental soon will no longer be in the tire production business. Similar Products Used: Michelin tires are far better; and any other brand would be better |
