wetness performance and I would even say tread life. I didn't expect them to last as long as they have, especially with as many burnouts as I have done. Driving fairly aggressive in florida you need good tires, these are them. The performance is very good in dry/wet condition. I have put over 35,000 miles in over 2 years they have been great. Would recommend, but I have heard the 2nd generation tires are even better. I will probably get them when it is time. |

Great grip Great in wet and dry weather.Really grip the asphalt. Had Comp T/A before but they had terrible wet traction. So So in snow but didn't expect them to be all terrain tires. Similar Products Used: BF Goodrich Comp T/A |

Awesome grip! Unexpected long tread wear.
Weakness:
Ugly tread design.(pretty tread doesn't work on snow) Boring sidewall(no design whatsoever) I've replaced the factory eagle RSAs with the same size KDWS all around. After driving them all summer all i can say to sum it up in one word is WOW! I'm a sporty driver am i've never heard a squeek out of them nor did i ever get the slightest hint of traction loss around a corner. They feel limitless in the corners. The RSAs could not handle me at all - skidding all over the place. In the rain the KDWS have nearly as much traction as the RSAs did on dry pavement. Winter just hit hard here in Alberta and they're handling that just fine too! I drove 20000 km on them and i'm missing 2/32 off the tread. Not bad cosidering the alignment was out till now. Car handled like it was on rails in dry and wet. Every bit as good as I've heard. Had better snow traction than I expected, even this last rediculous winter in New York. Want outrageous grip? Got bucks? Like changing tires?Look no further.
Weakness:
I don't drive too hard often, but they still "evaporated" in just over a year (15-20k). Burned up. Toast. Just as bad was the look - they looked more like 225's, not 245/50/16's. Seem narrow. Wanted an aggressive looking, quality brand tire; I've had great experiences with other BFG's (Radial T/A and All-Terrains on an S-10). The KDWS look UGLY (like they're heat warped), so I went with this summer only tire. Loved everything but the treadwear. Similar Products Used: Goodyear Eagle F1 GS Goodyear Eagle RS-A |

Strength:
Very good cornering and braking grip, wet or dry.
Weakness:
Need lots of air pressure and warm temps for good performance. Harsh, loud ride quality. I've been using the KDW's on my 99 Cougar for about 20,000 miles and they're toast. A little short for a high performance tire without any track time, but not too bad. I liked that they were a perfect size match to the stock tires, 215/50-16, and since they were OEM on the Contour SVT which had very similar suspension tuning, I expected a good combination of handling and ride quality. Which I didn't get - they only handle well with 36+ lbs of air in them which turns them into noisy rocks. Can't fault the handling, they grip very well once warm (and they do need to be warm) but their ride quality is downright nasty on this car. Similar Products Used: Nothing else on this car, but I've had a lot of other high performance tires on my prior cars. |

Long lasting, great traction, good handling.
Weakness:
Quiet but could be quieter. I've driven on these tires for almost 40K miles. Handling is great, look is great, and lasts for a long time. I had the Dunlops SP Sport before and it was ok but not as good as the BFG. Similar Products Used: Dunlop SP Sport |

Good solid response, quiet riding, and KICK-A** in the rain.
Weakness:
Maybe a little bit soft in hard cornering, otrher than that, none SO FAR. I recently replaced my Hankook Ventus H101''s with the g-Force T/A KDWS, and WOW! What a difference! I''ve had 3 different sets of tires on this car since buying it, and these are probably the best I''ve had on all the SHO''s I''ve owned. Handling, predictability, ride
Weakness:
none so far These tires came stock on my SVT. I like these tires because they have a very good balance of quite ride, performance and durability. Also, they take wear and tear very well. Both A520's and RE92 (junk in my opinion), would show wear only after few hard turns and do not hold in cornering nearly as good. A520's are very noisy, but perform better in wet conditions. Strength:
Quiet for a ultra high performace all weather tire. Handling and response is very good too.
Weakness:
None that I can speak of Replaced GY Eagle RSA with BFG g-force T/A KDWS on my 2000 Maxima. Paid $99 and change for each tire plus tax, balancing, etc. The RSAs were 215/55R16 and the KDWS are 225/55R16 so they're a little wider and taller. When you purchase the KDWS you also get a Gmeter, a $139 value. I think it measures speed and horsepower. You have to send in the receipt just like a rebate. Similar Products Used: None |
