Strength:
That they have canned so many customers to believe that their product is worth the money that they ask for!!
Weakness:
Redline Oils won’t guarantee their so called Race Proven Oil. I used Redline Auto transmission oil and it went black in 1 month.

RAV4
Strength:
Easy to drive, slide in and out of and reliable handling in winter, good visibility. The leather seats feel luxurious.
Weakness:
Considering the price, it's too bad it isn't made in America, ie. Canada or U.S.A. Within only a few months of hip replacement recovery, my wife needed a more suitable vehicle to ride in and eventually drive herself. The '04 RAV4 was the only product that fit the criteria for such a need. As we drove up to dealers, it was fun to see how they approached their prospective customer, a hip replacement survivor. We were cognizant of fuel economy, head room and entry and egress ability but two factors rated the most important: 1.) a very minimal door threshold 2.) effortless to get into and get out of. The RAV4 Limited Edition met these requirements by the leather seats and hardly any threshold. We are not short folk and so headroom was a bonus. The color is stunning and the vehicle is shorter than our previous car, an Acclaim. We use Amsoil Car Polish and get comments regularly on how great it looks. The leather is easy to keep in like new condition with Amsoil's Vinyl & Leather Cleaner and the Protectant. The dealer approved the application of Amsoil's XL-7500 synthetic engine lubricant. This is, in my opinion, partly the reason why we experience good fuel economy, contrary to what I've heard others say about the fuel economy of the RAV4. A fender-bender has to be the worst experience imaginable after buying such a great vehicle. Our Toyota dealer helped us with everything we needed to get everything back to the show room "love affair" we had only ten months ago. It wasn't serious, the spare tire cover and rear hatch door needed some work. Similar Products Used: We tried a dozen other SUV's. |

2002 HONDA VFR800I
Strength:
Remarkably cooler engine temperatures in hot summer months and stop and go traffic. Quieter engine and transmission with incrediably smooth up-shifting. Fantastically long/extended drain intervals.
Weakness:
Hard to find and a bit pricey. I now own a HONDA VFR800I/2002 now and use REDLINE 10W40. I used to drive a really hot (temp.) running SUZUKI GSX750. REDLINE dropped the engine temperature by about 10-15 degrees celcius in both bikes. Smoother transmission and up-shifting as well as an overall quieter bike and instant starts. REDLINE handles the 35-40 degrees celcius summer daytime temperatures and then the cottage country nighttime temp's of 12 degress C with equal ease. REDLINE is a bit pricey; however, by lowering the engine temp as dramatically as it does, I can use regular, 87 octane, fuel instead of the pricier higher octane grades. (Most folks don't understand the true role of octane in gas; all other things being equal, OCTANE is there to RAISE the flashpoint of gas so that it does NOT pre-detonate upon contact with the hot engine surfaces. Higher octane = higher flash point. Lower the engine temp means less octane needed.) In the end REDLINE saves me money. Similar Products Used: MOBILE 1. AMSOIL. |

Strength:
AMSOIL has ran in both my cars for over 5 years. I switched one time to Mobil 1 and started to use oil, switched back to AMSOIL and it stopped.
Weakness:
Just cost but that is inital as over it's use I save money so there is no weakness that I've been able to find. From all the research I've been able to do I've seen that AMSOIL is better than Redline and one funny review they had at a site that sells Redline the tests showd only Redline racing oil to be better than Mobil 1's typicl 5W-30. Considering you can't use it for street drving and Redlines street oil ran hotter and had less HP and torque it was amazing they even ran that test. I've yet to see a better oil than AMSOIL. Similar Products Used: I've used Redline in my motorcycles and it has worked great in them. It's a good oil, much better than regular conventional oils. I'm not impressed with Mobil 1 that I've used once recently and used f |

Zero Redline is the finest quality synthetic oil for race-duty cars in the world. No doubt in my mind. My car is a dedicated open track car can exceed 170mph. I spent $70000 on my car and it's worth every penney to spend the money for Redline products when it counts. Race Proven! Similar Products Used: Castrol Syntec, Royal purple, Mobile 1, and more. |

great shift quality, smooth.
Weakness:
price. Purchased some redline gear oil. I noticed an immediate shift quality difference. I tried royal purple gear oil and have found that the shift quality it provides.is of little difference over the stock honda gear oil. Relind is worth every penny. Strength:
This oil is great. The car feels "Alive" again. Engine is running alot more quiet considering it has more than 100K miles on it. If you are serious about your sports car/hot rod this is the oil you've been looking for. I put it in with a new High performance oil filter from K&N, Redline tranny fluid and topped it all with a can of "Restore" engine additive.
Weakness:
Was a little pricey but don't forget it included the tranny fluid. I've heard alot of great things about Redline oil. Today was the first time I put it in. Lubricates your engine really good, together with a can of "Restore" oil additive and K&N high performance oil filter. Can't beat that equation. 2 Thumbs up for Redline. Worth every dollar. Long lasting good stuff
Weakness:
None I run redline 10W-30 in my MR2. After 6 thousand miles on the first change the stuff still looked clean on the dipstick. Many people complain about the cost, but considering how long it lasts and the benefits of synthetic I don't consider that an issue. Worth it for my car. |
