Crisp feel. Accurate shifts all the time
Weakness:
Sits too low to the floor. May be a little hard to reach for people with short arms/ long legs. My first short shifter. It definatly is better than the factory shifter. I always know what gear I am in. There is less play of the shifter when in gear. It comes with urethane bushings for the control arm and shift linkage... definately better than stock. You may want to keep the factory shift knob for better reach to the shifter. I didn't have any problems installing the short shifter. It didn't hit the exhaust piping like what I've heard about the DC short shifter. Similar Products Used: None |

Eliminated the slop in the shifting.
Weakness:
little pricey. Took 15 minutes to install. I was very happy with the reduced throw and the firmer feel that it has provided. I had a problem when shifting to fifth gear, it would grind every once in a while. When i istalled the short shifter the problem has gone away. Figure that! Similar Products Used: none |

The short throw and quickness of it.

It doesn't really snap good. I paid about 125 for it and i do recommend it because it shorten's the length of time to change gears and it feels nice and it was easy to install. Made my car feel more sporty. Similar Products Used: None |

It shortens the length of the shift about 30 percent. It was a fairly easy install. Just take the old cables off and attach the adapter and put the cables back onto the adapter. Allows me to shift faster and with more precision and arm movement than before.
Weakness:
It tends to make shifting more notchier, sometimes you can shift too fast for the clutch to keep up with. You have to adjust it good so it goes into gears properly and u have to cut part of the console for fitment. I paid $120, I would recommend it, it came anodized blue and lazer etched, but why bother? it is underneath the shift boot. I don't think I could go back to that long stock shifting pattern.
