Strength:
-Never lets up -clamps with the force of 1000 men -Slightly shorter throw -low price, same as stock and other kits -easy to feather once you get used to the pressure
Weakness:
A little stiff for daily driving if you ask me, it's a real pain in the ass in stop-n-go traffic. But I guess you have to work for the advantages. When I had my clutch replaced with a LUK clutch kit, it had good clamping but it started making an unusual and irritating Squeaking noise due to the pressure plate fingers dropping. After having it replaced twice for the same reason, I decided to try something a little more powerful. And you can sure as hell feel it. I was expecting the pedal travel to become a little stiffer, but damn. It is substantially harder to push the pedal down, but after a few minutes, I learned to drive my car again and was used to it. You get used to it pretty quick and it's not all that bad. It's a little different flying through the gears with this clutch, takes more practice. But once you've done that, you've got the feel of a good performance car. This clutch clamps like you wouldn't believe, as it should with 70% more clamp than stock. I don't think I'll ever have to worry about slippage again for a long time. It is very durable as well. You can rag on it for as long as you want and it still will be tight as hell. If you have a GS-R, MAKE SURE you get the GS-R kit, they are different from other integras. Similar Products Used: LUK, Stock, Valeo |
