It sounds great.
Weakness:
none Great, i love the sound it delivers a lowe growl. I hate the screamer sound of the low budget see through cans, ther anoying. The mufler does not scream at hight rpm, the sound stays low. Great piece all stanless fits like a glove. Similar Products Used: those cheap cans |

Strength:
Good power improvement over stock. No loud ricey sound. The fit and construction quality is the best of any aftermarket Honda muffler on the market.
Weakness:
The cost is pretty high for just a rear section, but you get what you pay for. This is a super clean rear section! I bolted it up to Comptech cat-back piping to make the ultimate system. The fit is perfect and the sound is really mellow. There is definately an improvement in low-end throttle response and high end horsepower over the stock muffler. Similar Products Used: Greddy Evo. The Greddy made more high-end power then the mugen does, but the Greddy was just too loud for my taste. If I was a first-time exhaust buyer I would either get the mugen of stay with the st |

Strength:
MUGEN JASMA The build quality is second to NONE! Fully polished stainless steel. TIG welds, nice thick flanges. Can''t read Japanese but very easy bolt on. PERFORMANCE gains are felt especially on the highway in fifth VTEC @ 120 mph+!
Weakness:
Are you serious? I waited 4 months for this exhaust and I would do it all over again if I had to. worth every penny. Immediately after install was completed, I started up my integra and the sound was deep and low, yet powerful. Excellent tone at idle and does not get louder as the rpms climb, rather the twin-loop silencer does just as it states. never raspy always deep between idle to 5g. I stopped listening to my radio and just listen to MUGEN Similar Products Used: Nothing compares. I cringe at all those kids buzzing around with shiny cans stuck on the end of their cars. Function is everything. |

Strength:
Shiny, super welds, the sound....ANYBODY WHO KNOWS MUGEN KNOWS THE SOUND. It's simply the best there is, hands down. Super smooth and thick and rich, very deep, screams at the higher RPM's and at VTEC. If you took a parking lot of modded imports and had each car rev for 10 seconds, you could tell the Mugen easily, it's simply the best and the most easily distiguished. Also, it utilizes the stock B-pipe, and you lose NO LOW END at all, it's just a muffler.
Weakness:
The price. 500 bucks for an axle-back burned a melted my credit card for a long time. It kinda wiggles when the car is warmed up and seems kinda loose sometimes, but nothing big. INCREDIBLE exhuast, superb welds, small subtle sleeper tip that doesn't look like a cannon sticking out of your car, easy install, loop is hidden perfectly behind the stock bumper. You have to hear and experience this exhaust in person, nothing will fully explain what it is like. Similar Products Used: Tanabe RM, GReddy SP, GReddy EVO. Mugen is best, period. I'd give it 100 stars but the thing only allow 5. |
