Strength:

Noticeable gains in horsepower (maybe 7-10hp) and fuel economy. Clear instructions and easy installation.

Weakness:

None so far.

Installation was straight-foward and well explained by the instructions. The only thing that slowed me down was stubborn bolts on the engine block. For whatever reason, I didn't need the O2 sensor extension wire. The gain in power is most apparent at mid to high RPM when the VTEC kicks in. I have heard that the 4-2-1 design increases high end and the 4-1 model increases low end. My car used to cruise 75 mph @3000rpm. Since installing the headers it has gone down to about 2750 rpm. This has translated into increased gas mileage...of about 3-4 mpg. I didn't notice a sound change, I already had a short ram intake. Great product, make sure you shop around for the best price. Don't be a sucker and pay for installation...don't be intimidated!! You can do this yourself if you have jackstands and tools.

Strength:

Love the noise, the performance, easy install

Weakness:

$$ Burnt 6 layers of High Heat header paint rated at 1500 degrees.

Don't waste your money getting it put on, install is easy. Get an oxygen sensor removing socket for 2 bucks.

Great Design, looks & feels better over stock

Weakness:

none

This is a great header for the money (esp. with ebay). install was very easy, everything bolted up with zero problems. header pulls a little of stock at 5-6K RPM and much better over stock at 6.5-8K RPM. Overall it is a great header.

Horse power gain

Weakness:

NONE

I purchased the header after I had installed a chikara headmen unit which was not gainning me any horses at all. Soon to find after the headmen header was taken off it was broken. So I got the DC Sports installed and boy what a change. These headers are phenominal. I could feel the power gain the firt time I open it up. great peace. Looks good in engine bay too.

Lighter then stock Look good good midrange power deepen exhaust not the best but great for the price

Weakness:

little rust increased under hood temps

For the price these headers are great. They gave me more midrange power with the 4-2-1 design. GEt the 4-1 if u want more top end. But midrange is more useful on the street. They also made my exhaust sound slightly deeper. Good design, looks good in engine bay. But if looks is all u want then get the stainless. Only problem is a little rust near collector. I live in ca, so if u live in a place where it rains more this might b a problem. Also they cause under hood temps to b higher since they use no heat sheild-not good if u have a short ram intake.

Strength:

-Awesome power that, in VTEC, jets you into redline -Increased MPG -Ceramic great looking and cooler than SS -4-2-1 1 pc. design light weight and great aesthetically

Weakness:

- PAIN IN THE ASS removal of stock - Finding best route for O2 extension - Spring-loaded cat bolts = biotch

Basically they are everything I had hoped they would have been. The Ceramic Coating looks great and the 4-2-1 layout provides impressive power across the board, although 5k-redline really pulls. This part was combined with a Tanabe Super Racing Medalion and an AEM CAI. Great power, less jerkiness upon deceleration, and MUCH LESS backpressure. But unlike the exhaust which made the car noticeably weaker down low, the headers feel much more powerful, probably a little better than stock. My mileage has drastically risen. I used to get around 29 in the city with light foot before ANY mods, now average around 32-33 with a lot of fooling around. The exhaust sounds about the same, pops a little more when decelerating, but nothing up top sounds different. The inside noise level is about the same as before, but when on it OMG, it's a LOT louder...sounds great. Also I don't have shift as high in the power band to get up to speed I can just cruise to 60 - no massive pedal stomping. The old iron headers were A BIOTCH to get off - about 3/4 of the two hour install time...and oh yeah, I put them in myself. DC provided an O2 sensor extension so CEL doesn't come on, and so your OBD doesn't read the insuing error codes. The stock headers were probably 3 times heavier than the DC's and very rusty (looking). The support bracket to the engine block was the hardest part for sure, and when it came time to mount it to the new headers I just put it on best I could, not OEM spec but I've got plenty of clearance and the header is on there as tight as can be. All in all - GREAT BUY and GREAT GAINS.

Ceramic coating is nice. looks great in the engine bay. sounds great too.

Weakness:

DC is highly overrated. No gaskets included. heard about cracking, rusting, and short life. not carb legal.

4-1 JDM ITR w/ 2.5" collector this application isnt meant for my car in the first place, but i made it fit in order to gain on top end. fair power for the money. looks great. somewhat a pain in the butt to get it to fit right. easy install about 45 minutes. ground clearance sucks. functions well as a header. i'd rather buy something else.

DISSAPOINTING TO SAY THE LEAST. My injen intake shaved off 3 tenths of a second in the quarter mile. The cermaic header 4-2-1 shaved off 1 tenth but cost more then 100 dollers more.
