Strength:
The performance is wild and the great full stainless system. Also not too loud.
Weakness:
None! I bought this exhaust because my friend had a Thermal on his Civic, and at the time I had a Brospeed with was very loud. I purchased this exhaust over a year ago and I love everything about. I love the performance, sound, and the looks with Thermal etched on the tip. Everyone compliments me on how great my car sounds. My fiancee even loves it! This is hands down the best exhaust out thier. Similar Products Used: Pilot Brospeed |

Strength:
2.25" diameter piping (largest I could find for my year), straight-thru muffler design, full stainless, nice etched logo on tip, worth every penny spent.
Weakness:
None This is the best cat-back system you can buy for older Civics like mine. I can really feel the hp gains all the way through the powerband. It looks great being stainless all the way down. It sounds fantastic with a nice low rumble @ idle, full growl on the gas, and nice tone when you are feathering the pedal. It is very responsive when coupled with aftermarket headers. And it fits perfectly. It only took me about 1 1/2 hours to install. Similar Products Used: Brospeed cat-back |

buzzing after less than a year This is a f/u on a past review I made and sad to say after less than a year I have a terrible buzzing sound when RPM's reach about 3000. Called WMR and they say that this may be "normal" RIGHT!!! True, it does decrease when the exhaust warms up but I really don't think it is normal!!! I'm really thinking about putting my stock exhaust back on. Similar Products Used: Greddy PE |

Strength:
Stainless steel entire length, great tone through most of the RPM range. Looks sweet, less common exhaust separates you/me from the crowd. Etched "Thermal Research & Development" on both tips. Big 3" tips without a horrid sound.
Weakness:
None that I can think of. Looks sweet, looks stock on the prelude but with just bigger pipes. Stainless steel the whole way from cat back, for the price of other exhausts. Performance gain is moderate, nothing exasperating. Excellent sound level and tone with this car, not ricey at all. Similar Products Used: Car has DC Stainless headers (to complete the theme), AEM accessory pullies, and DC DAC Intake/Iceman depending on weather. All installed together is worth 20+ WHP on these cars...it's proven. |

100% stainless steel, VERY deep sound - not ricey or annoying at all, just pure rumble! The tip looks good too, i didnt like the Greddy tips which i could fit my fist into!
Weakness:
---- none so far ----- but i will write another review in a couple months. Also no REAL noticeable power gains, perhaps some in the mid to high RPMS, but i wasnt disappointed because i really didnt expect any gains because i do not have any other Mods yet ! I really like this exhaust. I recommend it to anyone looking for a VERY deep sounding exhaust that isnt TOO Loud! It is just right in terms of loudness. Anymore and i think it would be tooo loud. What drew me to this exhaust was the 100% stainless steel and the sound. I live in NJ so i am afraid of the salt and sand that are put on the roads in winter rusting my exhaust. I am gonna write another review after i''ve had it for more then a couple months. Feel free to email me if you have any questions...or if you''d like to be referred to any sites that sell this exhaust for cheap. Similar Products Used: Stock |

I would definatley recommend this exhaust to anyone.
Weakness:
Alittle expensive, but it was worth it This exhaust is great. Easy to install once you get your stock exhaust off. I had to weld my stock exhaust off. Anyway, the Thermal R/D Exhaust is great. Sounds nice and deep, not like a pissed off lawn mower... Similar Products Used: Greddy |

Scrapes on everything Resonator cracked after a year and a half Loud and droning even for the "Stealth" line This is a follow up to a earlier post about the Stealth version. My earlier post had glowing reviews, but after having used the product for over a year and a half, I can honestly say I''m rather disappointed with it. The resonator casing has cracked makeing a god awful buzzing, and the darn thing scrapes on everything after I lowered the car (only a 1.5 drop). And not to mention that Thermal''s idea of a "Stealth" exhaust is still rather loud and boomy, especially inside the car. From outside the car, it''s nice, but inside had grown loud and droning, especially on the highway. I get headaches if I drive it for more than an hour or so. |
