I really like this exhaust. I had the HKS Carbon Ti on before and it was pretty loud on the outside and drone on the inside. The FUZZ pulled me over a couple of times also in VA Beach. The SMH is much better. Quality is super, sound is mellow with a inline 6 and the look compliments my car.

smell of burning steel is evident when fisrt bolted on. Other wise, great quality.

Just got it few days ago. A simple bolt-on. Excellent sound. Not too loud, a sporty dry noise. Felt a significant power gain @ high RPM, especially when VTEC kicks in. A very high quality exhuast. Looks kinda weired on 'ludes.

What the hell is this guy talking about, the guy before me. The tanabe hyper med. is a great exhaust. nice sound except when u floor it then it gets...uummm...raspy or cracks i guess.

Had a shop install mine but they had to do a little bit of modifying the heat shield to make it fit but that took two minutes.

This was the best purchase that I could have made for my car. I REALLY shopped for my exhaust and I went back and forth with magnaflow, apexi, greddy, HKS, and comptech. I had always just heard that Tanabe was the best but a little pricy but if you shop the internet you can find great deals, and I just bought this spur of the moment, and it was shipped here in a few days and the second it was put on it just changed my car. Perfect sound not too loud. Not at all like some other high pitch ones, this is a little deeper, but still sounds like a honda.

great low tone, still quiet, can't here it cruising. good powergains no more and no less than any other straight through mandrel bent though.

looks kinda awkward on my car, i like the G-Power muffler better, but they quit making it.

awsome product, build quality and fit was perfect. exactly what i wanted, a quiet exhaust that was still straight through. still deep sounding, but not droning.

I have to say that this exhaust system is great in many ways. It sounds decent, not too loud, such as those lawnmower-type imports(as I refer to them). Good power gains and looks nice, not too flashy or sticks out too much.. I recommend this product.

I used to have a really cheap exhaust system on my car and just now started getting serious about and Tanabe had a good racord of exhaust systems. I got the complete catback system and not only does it sound a whole lot better, but it helps out in my high end range.

I haven't found anything yet. I would like it to be a little louder but it gives a nice growl right now.

I would seriously recommend this exhaust system to anyone interested in getting a nice exhaust that adds horsepower and looks to their car. If you don't want to spend the money for one then to bad.

Almost too loud when carrying a large load on hilly roads.

I put this exhaust on my car in preparation for my upcoming engine swap and the fact that my current exhaust was falling apart... literally!

It sounds pretty good for the S model del Sol with the 1.5l engine and I hope it will sound great when I swap in a larger engine.

The build of this unit is great. All welds seem perfect and the piping is FU@#(^$ thick! Not sure if hp has improved any, but again this is currently a 1.5 liter engine. My mechanic installed it for free and we only had one small problem. The stock exhaust hangers were not long enough and the tailpipe was rubbing the bumper. Once this was fixed we noticed that the wording on the back of the muffler was a little bit crooked. Nothing serious, although I do wish I had known the tailpipe gets so hot before driving with it touching the rear bumper. :(
