Strength:

-Sounds great, deep throaty sound when accelerating (Unlike the high pitch annoying sounds of other exhaust).
-Not loud when there is no demand on engine.
-More gain in high end (balanced out high and midrange with my DC Stainless Steal headers).
-Turns heads (speacially the girls :)).
-Looks great, fills in the gap perfectly in the back bumper (looks as if the car was made for it).
-It's also 50 State legal (important for living in CA).

Weakness:

-Not as much noticeable horsepower I thought it would give (But exhaust is just the biggining to modifying your car for more HP anyway).

I must admit this was the second mod (first was a K&N intake) to my 99 Integra and I was uncertain with this upgrade. But I'm glad I chose Greddy, and I'm very happy with the results. This opened the door for more mods to come, with confidence.
If your an all out racer or just a conservative driver that just wants a little something more sportier for your daily driver. This is the way to go. Not too loud and annoying, and looks clean.

Strength:

Sounds great, looks good, isn't too loud just right, but i'm still breaking it in:) just installed it 2 days ago. My engine feels less restricted, revs to redline alot smoother. Works great with my aem cold air intake. It's great at full throttle with both of them screaming down the streat. Fun to drive in traffic. I'm not too sure yet about the power gains, but it almost feels like I got more from the exhaust than the intake but I don't think thats possible. The power gains were all up in the higher rpms. Beyond 3000 is where it really kicked in. It'll be interesting to see what it'll do when you add headers.

Weakness:

Nothing yet, but the price really hurts.

$560 bucks it hurts alot. The sound is great almost unmatched that I've heard. Price kindof takes away from the product, but if you think about it it's a high quality component that replaces alot of old junk on your car. It's perfectly sized and matched to your car as well, The diameter of the tubing is matched also. Bottom line if you want mainly performance, and not so much sound do this last.

Model Reviewed: 99 Honda Prelude Type SH

Strength:

It's a nice looking unit, with a polished s/s canister and tip. The exhaust note is deep and somewhat loud, not annoyingly high like some of the other exhausts out there. Power gain was only 3 ponies on the dyno. Rather disappointed with that.

Weakness:

The tip is TOO big. Having a 4 inch tip might be great from an aesthetic standpoint, but it catches unwanted attention from law enforcement. Looking at the construction of the system, the 110mm tip is absolutely unnecessary. The flow rate shouldn't matter whether it has an oversized 110mm or a smaller one. I think a 3" tip would be much more appropriate.

No comment on price paid... friend owns a shop. I'll pass on this question. I am waiting for my Mugen exhaust, which will replace this GReddy unit.

Great fit and finish. Noticeable HP increase (engine feels like it breathes freer). Stainless Steel (rust protection).
Great Deep Sound (not too loud)

Weakness:

Costly, easily noticed by COPS.

Overall, worth every penny i paid for it. Had it for about 2.5 years now and no probs (ie. leaks or rust). Looks fantastic and increases power. Nice SOUND!

Strength:

Sounds awesome and looks great. Since it's a straight-through design, it has little restriction, so its performance is good.

Weakness:

Sometimes it gets a little loud and it's pricey (I paid $500).

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

Sounds, looks, Welds, quality!

Weakness:

the resonator hangs a bit lower than the muffler, My cars pretty low. occasional scrape if you're not careful.

I love the great sound! Especially with the CAI. Very attractive muffler with awesome welds. This is a for sure quality exhaust. Was quiet at first but i got a hi-flow cat and it kinda opened up more. either way no complaints on sound. Cant wait to get headers! Dont buy if you want a loud whiney exhaust. This exhaust is deep and quiet.

Price

I bought the system because it was the only one that I could find for a 1992 Nissan Maxima. It was a little bit expensive but the quality was well noticed. I thought the sound was weak at first but it keeps getting better as I break it in. Improved my performance in the quarter-mile as well. Gas mileage was better too. Installation was pretty easy if you have an impact wrench. Overall I really like the system. Wish it could be a little cheaper though.

Perfect Sound, Quality, and looks.

Weakness:

If you can't install this exhaust, you are a moran and don't need one.

GReddy is worth every penny you pay. For the people that say you pay for the name, they need to step up to the competition. The tone is perfect. If you let off the gas by a copper, it isn't loud. If you drive normal, it's perfect. If you punch it, it lets out a roar that scares away the average p u s s y. Great quality that hasn't had one problem. The welds are perfect, and it matches all stock hanging points perfectly. GReddy is not for the weak. I would put one on any car they make it for. Good S h i t!
