None Edelbrock is quality. It has an "old school" sound which I was looking for.I think it sounds alittle louder than flowmaster during acceleration, but quieter during crusing. It doesn't have that loud sound in the interior.I had Flowmaster and Borla with the single side exhaust. This is the best system out there. Most mentioned above. Sound, power, performance, construction, warranty, ease of installation, great customer support and that EDELBROCK NAME!
Weakness:
(Jokingly he says:) Well, even Edelbrock couldn't overcome that 8.5 to 1 compression ratio and a cam that seems to have "flat lobes" without the possibility of "soupin' it up" unless the cam is aborted and a REAL one installed. But alas, this is NOT a true weakness of Edelbrock, but a punishment from the political prostitutes in California, Being from the "old school" and a backyard racer from the 60's, Edelbrock is like a household name. Known for quality, performance, research and then more research. They do not sell junk. They back up their claims with tested and re-tested data. When they offer it for sale to the general public - you can be certain the product is ready to perform. Since I'm not a big fan of front wheel drive, rice-burners - no matter how well they perform (and I admit they do haul the wagon powefully) I was hesitant to install ANY product on the wifes "high-performance import". Yet I did hers at the same time I did my old workhorse pickup. Sorry, but the 6-banger import still sounds like a high-winding, grabbing for that last RPM buggy. Even Edelbrock could not overcome the "new wave" in engines. It DID perform better - but to my old crusty ears - it's still a rice-burner with lots of revs - more than adequate power - but still misses the roar and vibration of a good old small or big block piece of American iron. NOW --- My pick-'em'-up-truck -- with it's ungodly low 8.5 to 1 compression ratio and a severe lack of cam action - plus a computer that was "old school" when GM installed it --- benefitted GREATLY from a simple exhaust upgrade (CAT BACK) -- air-cleaner swap -- and ignition by REAL engineers who did not have to make California happy with emission controls that choked the engine to death. EDELBROCK IS SUPERB! Sounds great on low end -- torque improved -- low, mid and high end performance not only SOUNDS better -- but on the dyno the numbers are there for all to see. Similar Products Used: On other vehicles -- ThrustMaster -- Performance Parts -- Fletchalls and a host of yet again "old school" performance parts -- MANY of which are no longer with us. HEADMAN HEADERS coupled with EDELBROCK'S INTAKE MANIFOLDS AND A WING-AND-A-PRAYER philosophy, I have been fortunate to be from an age where anything went and IF it went well enough -- IT'S STILL HERE TODAY. EDELBROCK IS STILL HERE -- THE YEARS SERVING TO PROVE THEY ARE THE LEADER AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE THE LEADER FOR YEARS TO COME! |

Lifetime warranty! Good tone, good performance. I Noticed an improvement from headers and catback on my stock 350.
Weakness:
Tone not quiet as deep as Borla's. Top as loud as Loud Mouth on top RPMs, other than some of the systems can be a little pricey. If you have the extra cash I still like Borla better. Pretty decent exhaust system. |

Decent Sound, awesome performance!!
Weakness:
A little quieter than I originally had in mind. This is a great system for someone that knows how an exhaust system should perform....it's not going to blow your ears with the sound (don't get me wrong the sound is good), but you do get a truly awesome performance out of edelbrock!! Similar Products Used: flowmaster, dynomax---this system is performance wise top of the line,if you are looking for a true high end performance cat-back system, look no further then edelbrock. |

Good deap sound, quality product, eddelbrock has a good long rep.
Weakness:
Have not seen any yet really. Good kit for the 3.8L camaro. Gives it a nice growl, not like a V8 but it has its own sound. Similar Products Used: Flowmaster, Dynomax |
