Strength:

Looks, Most power gain from what are out there.

Weakness:

Loud low frequency sound in the RPM range 1000 to 3000.

I've installed Cat-Back system on my car yesterday, and drove about 25 kms total since the installation. My first impression was "loud bass". I drove mainly around 1000 rpm to 3000 rpm, with some up to 6500 rpm. First of all, everyday driving around 1000 rpm to 3000 rpm would be very loud in the cabin. I didnt have chance to hear the sound out side but in the cabin, noise level would be 4 to 6 times the stock cat-back exhaust. However, when the car hits 3000 and above, low frequency exhaust note fades out and it almost sounds like stock. Appearance is amazing on the car, mufflers are really shiny and they stand out alot. Exhaust tips are larger than stock giving the car more aggresive looks.

There is slight chance of misaligning the system (just like any other exhaust system including stock system).. That is, there is a chance of one muffler haning lower than the other. However this could be fixed by losening, twisting the entire system and tightening it again.

I didnt feel the gain but Im assuming around 6 HP gains. The system wouldnt do any good until I put Headers in..

Strength:

Performance increase is exceptional, sound is everything I wanted, nothing I didn't. Look is trick while still giving good clearance. Install was a breeze.

Weakness:

It took about a week for the various pieces to expand/contract together several times for everything to gel. Before that, it was exceptionally loud, louder than I wanted. But after a week, the sound is consistent and has settled down quite a bit to a low roar I love. A little more pricey than the Greddy or the DC Sports.

I'm using this cat-back coupled with an AEM CAI. The CAI was installed first, and the horsepower gains were not noticeable. After installing the Comptech Exhaust, however, the gains are phenomenal. The sound is rich and throaty, not sounding like a pack of killer bees. Once it warms up, listen to it purr without being overly loud attracting unwanted police attention. It looks great-even the pipe is polished, and the tip isn't so big that it's gaudy - only 3". I especially like to rev through 2nd gear nice and slow and then let the rpms die down as I hit 3rd because the sound is so entertaining. I also really notice the increased pick-up in 1st gear that was lacking before.

Strength:

nice sound when you step on the gas and quite when crusing.

Weakness:

poor finish not what you expect for $600 mufflers

This review is on comptech Axle-back for V6 accords. all I have to say is the finish is not as great as I expected. The sound is nice not too loud just perfect for my taste. I found some discoloration on both ends, I guess when they weld them together. great clearance better than stock.

Strength:

-Great sound -Great looks -Good power -Doesnt look ghetto

Weakness:

The retards that installed my exhaust broke my 0-2 sensors so my car doesnt get all the fuel it needs. But they're payin for it so I dont care.

I bought this exhaust for my car because I didnt want huge ghetto canister and tip stickin out the back of my car. My car's been slammed to the ground and I needed something that wouldnt hang low. This exhaust actually hangs higher than stock! All you can see is a nice (larger than stock but not huge and stupid looking) shiny tip. It sounds absolutely beautiful and its not too loud on the highway. All of my friends have Greddys and DC Sports and this exhaust looks better, sounds better, and it gave a better power increase

Strength:

It has a great deep sound and is constructed well-fully stainless steel. It looks close to stock, with a little larger tip and like I said, it''s fully stainless. I can feel the power difference from stock.

Weakness:

Cost.

I am very impressed with comptech''s exhaust. It is everything I wanted in an aftermarket exhaust. It''s not too loud, but definately louder than stock. It has good welds and is put together excellently. If your looking for a loud, ricey exhaust, than this isn''t the one for you. I would advise anyone to get one if they have the chance.

Weakness:

Looks too stock.

Bought the car with the Comptech Exhaust and ARC Intake. The exhaust needs a little bt to warm up then it gets louder. SCREAMS at 6000+ rpm. Attention grabber especially cops. Buy if you like a stock look with some mid to high gains.
